Who out there is excited about another M. Night Shyamalan production: "The Happening"?  At first, I was like sweet.  That's a pretty cool looking movie.  Then came along M. Night Shyamalan and I thought, "Forget it."  Now wait folks, I'm not trying to put down the guy.  I loved "Sixth Sense".  But then came "Signs","The Village", and "The Lady in the Water" which turned out to be flops.  If you liked the movie, I'm not trying to insult your taste in movies.  Simply based on box office revenue vs production costs, they just didn't really make the cut.

So let's take a short little poll.  What do you plan to with movie?

1) Watch in New Theatre
2) Watch in $1.00 Theatre
3) Rent the DVD
4) Get it from a friend
5) "Not worth my time!"

Hope everyone is doing well.  Later folks!

Transformers: THE MOVIE

Transformers: MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE

I went with Ticia to watch a 12:20 PM showing of this movie.  I wasn’t expecting much from this movie.  I just wanted to watch the cartoon characters that I grew up with come to life on the big screen.  The visuals were impressive.  The transformations of all the characters were pretty sweet: BumbleBee, Jazz, Optimus Prime, Starscream and so on.  I’m not sure about Megatron transforming into a jet though.  I remember him being a gun type of thing, but the movie gives them freedom to really transform into whatever they wanted.  Neat trick really.  It contained a good mix of actors, some well known and not so much.  The plot line was pretty simple: evil vs good, destroy the human race vs saving the human race.

Overall, it’s a nice relaxing movie with the occasional humor moment.  For all you Autobots and Decepticons at heart, this movie has long been overdue.  Enjoy!

Brain Age 2: More Brain Training

Brain Age 2

Yes, that’s right folks.  The 2nd brain age has been created and slated to release in August.  However, the folks in England already have it.

The daily training consists of different activities this time.  It’s a good change.  Try it out people!

California Pictures

Oh I went to a land
    From a faraway place
    Where the caravan Mercedes roam
Where talk cut off your ear /Where it's flat and immense
If they don't like your face /And the heat is intense
    It's barbaric, but hey--it's vacation!
When the wind's at your back
And the sun's from the west
And the sand in the glass is right
    Come on down,
    Stop on by
    Hop a S-series and cruise
    To another California night!

The story begins on a pleasant weekend in May.
