HEY EVERYONE!!!!!

Hope your week is fabulous.

Matthew 6:27-29

27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[a]?

28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

If by perfect, you mean sinless, then no, not until we get to heaven.

Did God leave us the power to live a perfect life? Well, no. We are still sinners. Jesus was the only one that was perfect and will always be perfect. God gives His Children so many awesome things, but perfectness is not one of them! I mean, if God said that He would leave us power to live a perfect life, He would have but it in His Word. I mean, He gives us choices and we can try to live better lives and try to be like Christ..but it is never going to happen because we still sin.

Thanks for the comments! I do think that this site is going to work much better! =) thanks! God Bless

No, because we are all still sinners but he did leave us to live a life for him and to witness to others about him.

well in my opinion we were created in a perfect life, but because of the sin man created, we can no longer be perfect....that is why in the bible we had to offer sacrifices to God to now clean us of our sins....because we are not perfect, God had to send christ who was with out sin, therefore perfect, to die for us....so yah he created us to be perfect, but he also gave us the power of free will, and through that we missed it, we can not have the power untill we are with him in heaven.*__*

If we were not in some sense "perfect," we could not be right before God as we speak, and we have to be in order to go to heaven.  It is fortunate, then, that "righteousness" is not the ebb and flow of spiritual life, but the actual "legal declaration" of being right before God on the basis of Jesus' blood.  That is what allows us to have the Spirit of God (remember the veil ripping at Jesus' death), which in turn purifies us in our daily lives as we continue to put the old self behind us.  I think many say, "Well, I can't help but sin sometimes" and so they forget that we DO have the power to put it behind us.  I love what Paul wrote in Philippians 3:12-16.  Look it up and see what you think!  God bless!

God made us in His image at first, but after the first sin, we are incapable of leadinga completely perfect life. even though some ppls beleive that they can earn their way to heave, they cant because they would have to be perfect. i dont think that there is anyone on this Earth wh oknowns they have never done anything wrong!

We can not lead perfect lives because the bible tells us that we will all fall short of the glaory of GOD! As long as we are here on this earth we will be tempted, & sooner of later we will give in. Because of Jesus we do not need to be perfect.

Great question! Thanks,

John

he left us the power to live as perfectly as humans can...which is not the perfection he has achieved. but wanting to be perfect in this world, we have two ways to go with that: wanting to be perfect in each other's eyes, or wanting to be perfect in God's eyes. his code of conduct runs a different track...and ultimately, is more rewarding. wonderful question! Cheers!
