| | i actually had a good time at my 4-hour class last night. but it was soo hot in the kitchen though, well maybe it's because i was using the stove. hahaha. our team made "cream of broccoli soup". it was soooo goood. i <3 cream soup. then i had some of chef gremo's (my prof) clam chowder before the class was dismissed. it was good too. yummm. :P*
then after class i had to go to my 2nd job over at the palazzo resort pool. it was so niiiiice up there. esp with how everything was set up for the reception, it made the pool look even nicer. anyways, danielle was telling me how horrible it was during the set up becaues it was really windy and SUPER hot in the afternoon. i'm so glad i didn't do the set up otherwise i would've been really dehydrated and super tanned by now. haha. we were so dehydrated after tearing everything down last night. well it only took me and danielle an hour to tear everything down. haha. not bad at all but tehre's usually like a group of 4 to do the strike but last night it was only the 2 of us. hm. how our economy is right now really worries me. anyways. i hurt my back last night at the loading dock.
so here's the story. i was on the top of the loading dock while danielle was at the bottom. after tossing about 7 of those 50lb bag of linens in the van, i started loading the dollies inthe van. the first dolly was ok, it was so heavy. then when i was trying to put the second dolly in the van. it was super heavy. so while my hand was still gripped onto it...it dragged my whole body down with it. and i used my back to prevent myself from falling with the dolly. it's bad but i'm so glad i didn't fall off the loading dock otherwise i would've been hospitalized right now. :/ i'm still shock from it.
