| Hey,
I could really use some prayer right now:
I haven't been in the best of health with my eyes, and it feels like
I'm losing touch with all of my friends. My schedule seems out of
control, and there's never slowing down. If it's not school, it's work
that keeps my busy. I hate busyness.
However, I do know that this too shall pass and the circumstances I am
presently enduring are for me. Just pray that I would be
teachable, instead of just having a bad attitude. I am so tired of surrendering to circumstances.

| God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so good to me....
After meditation of 1 Peter 5:5-7, God left me with this powerful word
that I hope can encourage you all enduring times of busyness,
heaviness, and distress:
DON'T SUBMIT TO CIRCUMSTANCES BUT TO THE LORD, WHO CONTROLS CIRCUMSTANCES
so simple, and yet so powerful and true=)

My migraines are back, and I don't know what's causing them. I think
that it can be a combination of my allergy medicine, working in a dusty
atmosphere, and the anticipation of school that's causing them, but I
still don't know for sure.
You all let me know if I can be lifting you guys up in prayer in any kind of way.
Blessings to you all=)

| - Hiding Place
I praise my God that He alone is my Rock, Redeemer, and Heavenly King!
Tonight, I just had so many yucky feelings dwelling in my being.
However, whenever I had thoughts of being a terrible friend, an
unpleasant girlfriend, a selfish daughter, a stingy giver, a doubting
thomas, or the most unfaithful follower of Him (which I know I
can be...we all can be...quite guilty of, it's true ), my God reminded
me of the safety and refuge I can find at any moment in His holy
presence. I am so thankful that when I am dirty, broken, bruised, and
unattractive, that's when I am the most beautiful to Him. It's
beautiful because I am vulnerable, showing God that I am not at all
capable of repairing myself on my own. When I come to Him a mess,
He delights in my vulnerability. I know many of you have heard this
before, or even perhaps experienced being broken before God. I just
needed to have yet another broken, on my face before my King
experience. It's amazing how we don't get it the first time, and
everything can be so cyclical when it comes to learning the things of
God. However, I think it's neat that even if we do encounter the same
junk again, God pulls us closer to Him each time as we grow in His
likeness. I am, indeed, amazed by my King=)
I take refuge in you, God, my hiding place=)
