| So I had my first rehearsal playing the horn with symphonic band a
couple days ago, and it was quite interesting. I really haven't
ever played the horn before in my life and I'm supposed to sightread
everything on the first day! I hardly know any fingerings for
it!!! Anyway, I had fun with it and I know it's going to get
better. I have actually been practicing...I know it sounds
strange, but I have. I really don't intend for this to be
stressful at all, just a way to better learn how to play the horn since
I wasn't able to learn much in brass class. I'm just going
to have as much fun with this as I can.

| I FINALLY DID IT AND IT WAS AMAZING!!! I proposed just after rehearsal and she said yes! I had the Phi Mu Alpha guys serenade her and we sounded a-freakin-mazing!!! Anyway...I am so excited about everything now i couldn't be a happier person if I tried.  |

| Well it's been such a long time since I've updated this and there is so
much that I want to say, but right now I'm at work. There's a
little downtime right now and I don't have anything else to do.
My schedule for this semester is so rediculous, my head is probably
going to explode soon. I'm almost never in the dorms unless I'm
playing smash bros. or sleeping, so if you've been to my room looking
for me, listen for smashing or lots of yelling. If you don't hear
them then chances are that I'm not there. I made it in wind
ensemble at the beginning of the year, but when I first found out the
results I was extremely bitter, but I think I've pretty much calmed
down about the whole thing. I have kept it professional.
The thing that made me so angry was that a freshman made
section leader! Now, in my personal opinion, I don't believe that
it's right for a freshman to come in and get the top spot in the top
band over two other seniors that auditioned for it as well. But I
don't make the decisions around here...oh well. Well that's about
it for now. Teresa and I have some news that we will reveal at a
later date. Also I want to propose to her soon but my plans are
quickly falling through and I'm not sure what I'm gonna do! I
want to make it big and memorable, but nothing seems to be
working....I'll find something....
