  • What's wrong with Chicago drivers?

I have recently come to realize that I am a Chicago driver. I am very rude and very impatient when I drive. I'm always trying get places really fast and its sometimes for no particular reason. I find some satisfaction in driving fast and passing slow drivers. When someone in front of me drives slow, I'll switch lanes and then make sure to look at them as I pass.

I always thought it was the other driver's problem. I dislike Champaign-Urbana drivers. Everyone goes too slow. But I think that from their perspective, other drivers probably dislike me just as much. I'm a jerk when I drive and I now know it, yet.... I don't care. I'll probably run someone over someday or get out of my car and get into a fight with someone else. It's inevitable.

Now I need to buy a bat to put in my car.

  • Whats my problem?

I recently came to the realization that in things that involve competition, people usually only care about beating me. It doesnt matter if they get first place, the point is to beat me. Examples include: fantasy basketball/football and video games. Regardless of the outcome, usually people just want to make sure I'm not first and that I get the lowest possible outcome. This may have something to do with my pride, my competitive nature and my trash talking. All things that I'm trying to work on.

However, I think I secretly enjoy this hatred. It pushes me to prove others wrong. I'm messed up. If you think you know why, please let me know.
