| - SMACK THAT - FEATURING EMINEM Wattup eberyone?!?! It's been a while....man since JULY was my last update... Well nothing really new w/ mee....just work and shiet.... I been sick the past week....supposedly there's this mysterious "virus" going around, not just at work, but everywhere.... Funny thing is, for the first time in a looonng ass time, I decided to get FLU shot....I "thought" it would be prevent me from catching anything, rite??? but I guess it's just prevents you from catching the FLU - hahaha yea I know - "duhhh Jeff, FLU shot - not "everything" shot BUT I'm starting to feel better lil by lil everyday....been stuffing myself w/ vitamin C pillz, OJ w/ extra calcium, vitamin C and D and of course Halls I been back to the gym, regularly - the past month or so...getting myself to go is the hardest part of the process - Here I am at home, relaxing - in bed or watching TV - my mind tells me to go!! but my body tells me to stay and "veg" out till I got to work or get hungry haha...but I been telling Reena to yell at me to get off my a$$...that's the only time I allow her to yell at me - for a good reason of course  So at work we had to move locations due to re-construction of our NOC (network operations center) - so now our new "NOC" is a bunch of 20 sumthing people stuck in individual cubes (like office space) The way our normal NOC is setup is one lonnnng straight table equipped w/ computer "stations" side by side - here's a great example - that picture is almost exactly how our NOC looks like - each tech gets 2 monitors each (sum stations had 3 monitors whoOOoo!!) - in the front, we have those types of display screens- one screen w/ news playing, another one w/ the U.S. map displaying weather patterns, and others w/ phone numbers and crap blah blah Sitting in a cube is weird...never did it b4....it's cool cuz you have your own "space" even though you share the cube w/ our techs during the different shifts...the actually space is not that bad either - it feels "homey" The downfall about it - we don't have TV or any kind of entertainment - so im thinking so this is what working in an office space, in a cube feels like.... Surfing the Internet has its limits for a person - I mean I get tired of surfing the net after a while - I listen to music / watch music videos but that also has limits- and I make pit stops to other cubes to visit frends - I haven't slept yet, i'll try not too...haha Ok enuff of that banter.... Just wanted to congratulate REENA on getting a diesel job offer from Johnson and Johnson PROUD OF YOU HUN!!!! (now I can get my 52" TV I've always wanted) ALSO - Happy 25th Birthday to Maureen (AKA Rice Picker) Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy - CHUNKY OUTZ!! |
