I am ever excited about the semester eclipse drawing near.....5 weeks with nothing to do but work full time, and even that can be a blast at times.  that and my sweet monkey comes home in 2 weeks and i plan on spending quite a bit of time with him. he doesn't know what i have in store for him, but he will soon find out!!!  anyway, i had to turn in the first 2 pages of one of my research papers to have critiqued before the real due date.  the prof gives it back and says things like, "are you going to concentrate only on the foundations of the charity?" and such things, that would be expressed had i turned in the full paper.  now i get a grade on a rough draft and even though it only counts a small 5% of my grade, I have never in my life heard of a rough draft being graded for anything other than presence and the fact that i turned it in in the first place.  instead i get graded on "lack of evidence" "lack of sources" and such when all i did was turn in 2 pages out of 10....i cannot stress how stupid i find this, but oh well, i am but a peasant amongst kings with no voice of my own. i want to hop a train to no where with enough money in my pockets and a warm coat to keep me warm.  wouldn't that be fun...just to see where you stop.  if i make it to Los Angeles I will attend a Dodger game and squander my homecoming money on Dodger Dogs and pointy fingers.  oh well, must go to class now...closing....listening to my Ipod....my hands are cold.  U of L i don't think has turned on the heater even though it is 40 degrees outside.  i have yet to take off my scarf and tobogan.  goodbye for now.

It has been 6 months sicne I last wrote an entry in this thing and i can't even explain how much my lfie has changed.  even thouse closest to me have no idea.  6 months ago i was complaining about politics and theology, and now have come to realize that none of it really matters in the big scheme of things. i mean seriously, this country doesn't seem to change too much in the course of a short presidency; it seems to be the long run the determines things.  as far as theology.......i don't think it really matters whether or not you believe that Jonah actually was in a big fish or that the story of Jonah was just a parable about what can happen to people if they stray from God's will.  either way you get the point that you must follow God to be successful.  I love the movie the Sound of Music, but can't watch it really until after December 9th.  how i long to watch it and sing along with Julie Andrews.  i can't watch it because it takes place in Austria which is so close to Germany and until December 9th I hate Germany.  It has taken my heart away from me, at least momentarily.  You know who you are.  I have found a new love of music.  music is so much more than lyrical rhyme.  it is a clear beauty of consolidation between cords, harmony and rhythm.  i like this small band called San Diego Thursday and their song "A Cure For Useless Eyes".  it is simple and pleasant and simply instrumental.  i wish i could put it up on this site, but I cant remember how to play music on here.  This band reminds me of this band Foxhole from Bowling Green, KY.  except Foxhole is a bit more loud.  Oh well, i shall blog soon again....but until then....i bid adieu.

I have to say that I am becoming disenchanted by our federal, local and state governments.  When I was 16 years old, I was ordered to appear for jury duty.  16 is two years shy of the permitted age.  How this mishap happened I do not know.  Just today I received a certified letter in the mail stating that I, being 21, am 3 years late in registering for the selective services.  There is one tiny problem here:  I am a girl!  The only two requests I have received from our governmental systems have been totally outlandish.  One came too early and the other assumed me to be of the oppostie gender.  There must be some way in which the government needs to check on these things before they make themselves look plain silly.

"If the details helped liberals, I promise you we'd be hearing the details. Most important, if liberals could win in the court of public opinion, they wouldn't need the federal courts to hand them their victories in the first place. The reason liberals refuse to elaborate on 'extremist right-wing ideologue' is that they need liberal courts to give them gay marriage, a godless Pledge of Allegiance, abortion on demand, nude dancing, rights for pederasts, and everything else they could never win in America if it were put to a vote."

Hey Liberals, When Does That Draft Start Again?

It has been almost 4 months since W. defeated Kerry and there's no draft, no calls for the draft from the White House, nobody calling for a draft on the right. Conservatives told you there wasn't going to be a draft and we were right.

So don't you chicken little libs who were trying to convince people there was going to be a draft before the election think it's time you admitted that you misled a lot of voters? Don't dodge the question, don't change the subject, just go ahead and say you were wrong in the comments section. You'll feel better if you get it off your chest...
