Seriously.. watch "The Office" 8:30 Thursday nights on NBC.  I've never 'gotten into' any sitcom where I plan my schedule around seeing weekly episodes, but i think I'm about to start.  Quirky comedy with a love story mixed in.. Haven't met anyone who hasn't liked it, and if you don't, I think you and I will have to sever all ties from this day forward ;)

I missed one of my best friends weddings this past weekend.. I hated not being there.. Couldn't get out of work obligations.

My guys split their two games this weekend.  We lost the first game to West Rusk, and then beat Troup to take home third place.  We still haven't put together a full game where we've played our best ball, but I saw flashes of how well these guys can play when they are hitting on all cylinders.  The second round of district starts this Friday, and I feel like we're ready for the fight.

Let's say it together now.. 2-0-0-6 . I mean really.. Where does the time go? It is now the year in which I turn 25.

                                Fond memories of 2005:

Graduating from UT Tyler (actually happened in December 2004, but who's counting anyway)

Landing a teaching/coaching job at Harmony.

Washington D.C for the presidential inaguration (where the highlights included an overnight stay in a North Carolina airport sleeping on the hardest floor known to man, and getting all dressed up for a ritzy party where Cody and I landed on national TV).

Guy's night at Pizza King, and Xbox live.

Coaching 7th grade girls volleyball, and JV guys baseball and basketball.

Getting tossed from a city league softball game/ winning both our leagues.

Fishing.. anywhere.. anytime

Family christmas ski trip in Colorado.

Things I look forward to in 2006:

Fishing.. anywhere.. anytime

Finishing up my teaching certification

Finding  HER

Getting into better shape

Getting a tan

Winning the lottery.

Having my own place again.

Well guys and gals.. thats all I've got for now.  You take care, and come back and see me sometime.  I'll try not to let 2.5 months go by before my next post..

I'm going to the lake.. I may never return.  Unless I run out of bait.  Or ever decide I want to get married.  I always wanted to be one of those mountain men. But unfortunately I can't grow a beard.  That's a shame.  I lost my tan.  That can never be a good thing.  One more day of volleyball.  On to basketball.  Maybe that will give my heart a jump start.  Yes, definately going to the lake..

I decapitated a fly with a rubber band today at work.  Probably the most amazing thing I've done in months... Maybe I need a new life?

Hmm.. I'm busy most all the time, which cuts into my xanga postability, but really not much worth writing about ever occurs.  Oh yea, someone flashed another student in my P.E class this week.  I was in my office posting grades so luckily the other coach saw it and not myself, but that was interesting to say the least.  My volleyball girls took home the big 4th place in a tournament a few weeks ago, they have taken some great strides this year.  I'm proud of them.  The first game of the year we played Grove and never scored over 8 points.  Monday was our rematch, and although we still lost to them, we scored about 20 points both games, which brings our overall record to 3-6.  I've been reading the book Wild at Heart the past week, and it's really thought provoking.  I can't decide what it does more.. motivates or depresses me.  It is a great book though and I'd highly recommend it. Junior High wide field trip tomorrow and a Softball game tomorrow night, so life is good.  Thank you all for giving my site a few moments of your life.
