Are you living for what Christ has made you for? Are you living with a vision is place?

I sure hope you are...for if you are not, if you go day after day, you will perish. My friends, why live this life without a vision? Why live this life without the vision that the Lord has put on you? Why not live the life that the Lord has designed for you...he knows best doesn't he?

Hey, this is a letter I send out to a lot of my family and friends....

Hey everyone,

Below is a letter that the entire ministry has received. It was forwarded to us by Ms. Stacey Long, the Fundraising Coordinator, who received it from Mr. Ron Luce. For those of you who do not know who Mr. Ron Luce is, he is the President and Founder of Teen Mania Ministries, Teen Mania runs the Honor Academy, which is what I presently am attending, to grow in my faith and draw closer to the Lord, becoming the leader that God has called me to be.

I have learned a lot here, and lately I am learning a lot of vision and being a good leader. Ron Luce, is consumed by the call, sincerely, every time he talks, he talks about this generation, he talks about how we need to go out and save the lost in this generation, we need to take back what the enemy has stolen.

Jesus commands us to, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (John 16:15). This is what Ron Luce is consumed by, preaching the good news to all youth. I have realized lately how great this man truly is, he is so consumed by the call, that whenever he speaks, he speaks about raising the war cry, “My heart pounds within me, I cannot keep silent. For I have heard the sound of the trumpet; I have heard the BattleCry!” (Jeremiah 4:19b). This is truly Ron Luce, he imparts vision upon us, he casts vision on us, to work hard for this generation, he helps to spur us on, desperately seeking the Lord, in order to bring him glory amongst all the nations.

Psalms 144:1-2 says, “Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.” This is a war we are in, and the longer I am here, the more I realize it. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12). This is a war, God tells us this, we must stand up, and fight for our lord, and fight for the souls of the people., “Be very careful then how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 6:15-16). The time is now, to stand up for this generation, the time is now to fight.

The following is a letter briefly about what we have been doing here as a ministry, and what you can do to help. I have sent this letter to all of you, because I know that you have a great heart, and that the Lord lives in you, and is working through you. You can give me a call about this if you would like, my number is 903-324-7443. I won’t be in the office tomorrow, and will be unable to return any calls until Sunday, because this weekend I will be doing a Fasting Retreat, and I will be unable to speak to anyone but the Lord. But I ask you to pray about this, and to allow the Lord to open your heart and give, trusting that the Lord will bless you through this, and that he will use you, and your offering, to change and save this present generation and the generations to come.

Dear Partner,

I consider all of you close friends, and would like to share with you the recent status of what is happening here at Teen Mania with the BattleCry movement. It seems like this is a season of both incredible favor and challenge. I would like to describe both to you.

I wish we all could have been together in San Francisco to experience God move in the hearts of so many young people. Our event began on Friday night as we gathered together on the steps of City Hall for a heavily protested prayer rally. It continued on Saturday morning as we were required to worship via radio due to a "last minute" noise ordinance imposed against our event. By the time everything was finished, over 11,000 of the 22,000 attendees either committed or re-committed their lives to Christ. It was another powerful example that the Word of God cannot be silenced.

This event also sparked some incredible media coverage across the nation as teens stood for their faith at City Hall - The O’Reilly Factor, New York Times, CNN Presents, Fox News, and ABC’s Nightline all reported on this event as well as multiple local affiliates. This event and the other 40 regional events we continue to do each weekend are part of our effort to do everything we know to do to reach teens for Christ through our Battle Cry campaign. We are so amazed at how God is using the BattleCry events to wake up teens to stand up for their faith to show millions of people across the nation that teens are in trouble and in need help.

I wanted to share this exciting news with you, but also share the most challenging situation we have faced in our 20-year history.

Passionately pursuing this generation with this BattleCry movement is taking significant investment. Where we used to do one stadium event every other year in addition to our weekly Acquire the Fire events, we are in the middle of completing six stadium events in two years. In addition to that, we have created so many tools for local churches to use to double the size of their youth group. We have invested so much money for this BattleCry movement to create this momentum that we have a severe cash deficit RIGHT NOW. We need significant help in order to keep going forward. 150,000 teens in the next 2 months will be impacted by our perseverance today, and to reach them, we must have your financial help now.

I am emailing you today to ask if you would prayerfully consider helping us meet an immediate financial need that will enable us to continue the work of reaching a generation.

Today before work we were suppose to pray with one another, and my first thought was...

I really dont want to...

Am I that prideful that I can't get pray from others, that I won't open up to another person...

What is the world is wrong with me?

God please redeem me, wake me up to you...

I want to be sensitive to you...

Sesitive to your spirit...

I want to know you.....................

Everything else I count as lost....

Life is not a game. There REALLY is a war RAGING out there. The devil wants to tear us apart, to tear us down. He wants to stunt our growth in th Lord. He wants to kill us. Don't let him, you have the power to rebuke Satan, Jesus gave us the power when we accepted him into our hearts, all we have to do is call on his name. I want to fight for Jesus, I want to give my whole life to him, I do not want the devil to win any battles. We have won the war already, so hold on to your victory, run after the Lord.

God is so good...

How he can take a horrible situation...

...And make it glorify him...

...how everything happens for a reason...

...how he is willing to do ANYTHING just to teach me a lesson...

I am so glad that I serve the God I serve...

...The God that was willing to do anything just to be with me...

Willing the die on a cross, on Calvary...

...Just so that one day, I would ask him into my heart...

...And I could be with him, be like him, learn from him, love him, glorify him...

...And you know the coolest thing of all?

...God is so willing for me to be with him, he is so in love with me, that he is going to get my attention anyway possible! He would even stop me from entering the states, to make sure the my heart is in the right place. To get my attention...

...You know how many quiet times I had while I was home?

...2...

...I was selfish...I thought I was too busy...I missed all my friends...I missed out on what God could have taught me...

I am here now, ready to learn, my heart is open...

When life is going great,

You never really realize that life can have trails,

and that it can be hard.

Lately I have been going through a lot of trials,

and God is teaching me to trust in him,

even when it seems like there is no way out.

I feel like I am in a cloud right now,

and I can not see my way.

The only thing I can hear is God's voice calling me,

he is the only one leading me through,

He is the one that I must trust.

God is faithful, and he will lead me through!
