| It's time I told you...Time for a full-blown life update.
I graduated from ACU last Saturday. Graduation was preceded by a hideously cheesy laser show. The ceremony was long and kind of exhausting, but I was hooded by my grandmother and it was lovely and wonderful. Also, I checked my grades on thursday, and I freaking got a 4.0 for the semester. Not bad for my last one, when I was running around like a crazy person. Here's me and my Mudear.

I moved out of House 9. I still don't believe it. I still don't believe that other people live there. I just know I'm going back in August, I just know it. I don't know what's going to happen when August rolls around and I can't go back.
And I got graduation presents. FABULOUS graduation presents. My parents are amazing. Here are my presents from them:
I started crying when I opened the box. I couldn't help it. It's probably the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. (sorry my pics won't rotate)

Needless to say, I felt like an elven princess. :)

Also, there was this. :)

It's pretty much exactly like my old one and I LOVE it. Although it's a tic sacreligious, I named it Aslan... for disappearing and then showing up exactly when I needed it. :)
Also, this wasn't a present... but I have been adopted by a kitty. It stays on my front porch all day and sleeps in the bushes and lets me pet it. It has wicked claws, but it's nice to me and now that it's been here for a week and I haven't even fed it, I'm pretty sure it's homeless. But it's so pretty! I don't know if it's a boy or a girl, so I've been calling it Rogue.

It's not coming to Nashville, so if anyone wants to brave the claws and come adopt it, be my guest.
Speaking of... I'm moving.

To Nashville. In 8 days. I have an internship with Franklin Media, working on a concert series called Live From the Co-Op. I'll be working out of the gorgeous Co-Op Studio I visited on Spring Break-- the one that belongs to David Mullen (Nicole C.'s husband) and Tobymac. I'll also be interning part time at a camp for privileged & underprivileged kids in Lebanon, TN. The camp is called Barefoot Republic-- if you know me, you know it's a perfect fit. Check out their site, it's pretty awesome.
Guys, it's ALL happening. And I couldn't be more excited. And maybe slightly nervous. My coping mechanism is to not think about it too much-- just do it. But it's crazy. I don't know where I'm living yet, and we've still got tons to pack and sell before next Tuesday-- so please pray about that. I know I am! Also, I'll be changing my xanga before long, so look for that too.
*sigh* so, that's it for now. I've gotta go get my spark plugs changed and clean out my file cabinet. Happy summer, my dears! I'll be in touch.

| Okay, here's what I think...
X3: The Last Stand- is going to be a really great, really intense movie. I'm going to like it, probably a lot-- but I just know that my emotional attachment is going to flare up, and then I'll commit to the story and be really stressed out the whole time I'm watching it. So I'll probably only see it once... unless it's really amazing.
Pirates 2: Dead Man's Chest- is going to be a super fun (and hopefully hilarious) action-adventure movie. The perfect kind of movie for summer. If it's as good as the first, I'll see it more than once at the theater. And regardless of the quality of the film, my crush on Captain Jack will be reinvigorated.
Superman Returns- I love me some Clark Kent. But I also love me some Smallville. So while Kevin Spacey is going to be an amazing Lex Luthor, I'm still going to miss Mike Rosenbaum... also, I don't want Kate Bosworth to be Lois at all. And I like that Brandon Routh looks the part... but I miss Tom. And I hate the suit, I think they made it look dumb. I'm going to see the movie-- but I'm going to be critical of it, which means that I prolly won't like it as much as I'll want to.
