Excitement is growing over this weekends pre-release.  It's been a long time since Magic has made me feel this way.  After the Ravnica tournament, with my DCI number in hand, decided it would be interesting to see my rating.  What I found was they have a running tally, my opponents in each match, results from each tourney, and a graph.  I love finding statistics on myself, especially when I wasn't expecting it.

I don't have my end result from the '98 Stronghold pre-release, but I do know I won 2 matches, then lost once to Justin Stoner.

I don't remember this one, but apparently I was in some sort of tournament at Collector's Cache.  I lost my first match, and finished in 19th place out of 25.  I don't know how that works.  Maybe I won a match and the others below me didn't.  Either way, a sad tournament run.

Prophecy I was terrible, loosing three matches, and only winning one against Matt Cushing.  If I remember right, the guy I beat was 12.  Or maybe I lost to that kid in the first round.  Either way, I ended up in 67th place, out of 80.

For Ravnica, I was also terrible.  I lost two, won one against Ben Ainsworth.  His deck was good, mine just worked better.  My deck only really worked against him.  I finished in 41st place out of 50.

All added up, I'm ranked 257th out of 417 in the Kansas City area.  313 out of 495 in Kansas.  32035 out of 54848 in the US.  35435 out of 60601 in North America, and 87990 out of 151395 in the world.  Not too bad.
