2 weeks from today and I will be on a plane headed back to the United States!!! As much as I have loved Bosnia and have enjoyed my time here, I am ready to go home. I am looking forward to seeing my family and getting to just chill with my mom and my siblings. One week after I get home I am headed back to BCOM. I think this summer is going to be tons of fun. I was a little bummed out that I wouldn't get to have a full senior year of college cuz my lovely college is forcing us to graduate early...hahaha...what torture. But a senior summer should be SUPER...that word is a shout out to my buddy Carolyn MARSH! And yes Marsh I will still call you Marsh after you get married because calling you Doubroff or Doobs, just doesnt have quite that lovely ring to it. So yeah, anyway, senior summer should be a SUPER summer. We get to live in these sweet apartments and I will be surrounded once again by all my favorite peeps...well I am pretty much surrounded by them here in Bosnia, but there are a few otheres that I can't wait to see again! And that's all that I really care to write about today...woohoo...Oh BUT, we stacked wood for about 7 hours today! Holy cow, ouch, pains all over the body...ack!

More News about my trip to Ukraine!!!

Ok so here is the xanga post that I know you have all been waiting for! I finally had my coffee with Sara, my super long chat with Marsh, and my phone conversation with my mama so I can now tell the rest of the world about my Ukraine trip.

The easiest thing to say is that it was AMAZING!!! I was really hoping and praying that God would speak to me about my future in missions. I have all of these places that I love and all of these things that I love to do, but trying to narrow them down and do God's will and all that is not so easy. And I can really honestly say that God spoke to me. It was so incredible, His timing in everything that happened just blew me away.

A long story short, I spent about 5 days in Kiev with a missionary named Lois. She is super cool and nice and she fed me waffles and gave me lots of coffee to drink! I followed her around everyday and met a lot of other missionaries that work with SEND which was the organization that I was checking out. After 5 days in Ukraine I knew that Ukraine is a place where God could put a lot of my giftings and talents to use. A lot of the things I am passionate about, are things that I could do in Ukraine and that was very exciting to discover.

Then after 5 days in Kiev I went to visit my friend Oksana in Dnievtsy which is the area of Ukraine that I was in almost 4 years ago. Oksana is now married to an amazing man of God and she has the cutest kid ever! Spending time with Oksana was sooooo much fun and it was really great to get to spend a few days living with a Ukrainian family. I think one of the best things that happened was when I got to visit their church. Oksana's husband is the pastor and he had me come up in front and speak for a few minutes. It was a very small congregation and most of the people were the cutest old women! One fo them came up to the front row and took a picture of me. After the service several of them came up to me to shake my hand or hug me and tell me what a blessing it was to have me there and some of them even thanked me for the work I am doing in Bosnia. It was so special!

Well I could go on and on about my trip but then no one would want to read this so I am going to quit now. Everything was amazing and God truly blessed me and showed me a lot of things. Thanks to everyone who has been praying for me about this!

I am in Budapest right now, chillin with my buddies Amy and Marilyn!!!

SO YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT UKRAINE???

Well, let me just say that my trip to Ukraine totally blew all my expectations out of the water (in a very, very good way)! There is a lot to tell, but there are a few people I want to talk to, pray with, or have coffee with before I tell all on xanga. Not much fun to share with my peeps in person if they have already read about it on this site! But for Katie's sake, I will write more soon, or maybe I will send her a personal e-mail.
Now that would totally shock her!

This may be my last post for the next 2 weeks. I am going to Ukraine! Wow, I am so excited that this is finally happening. I have been waiting for this for over 3 years now. It is so amazing how God has put this all together for me! I don't really have time to write anything more because I should be packing! I have a full day tomorrow. I am having coffee with one of my Bosnian friends, Ankica. She is sad that I will be gone for 2 weeks so we have to have one last coffee together before I leave. Then I have my regular lunch with the Skender family. After that is church, so tonight is my only time to pack!

I AM GOING TO UKRAINE!!!
