Monday Evening / Tuesday Morning

[i finally had time to finish it tonight]

So I'm suppose to be doing work, but I somehow managed to get sidetrack. I was watching some video clips produced by Wong Fu (http://www.wongfuproductions.com) I love these guys' work. But, I do have something to say...

My thoughts on Wong Fu...

As much as I would hate to be a harsh critic on their materials [because i truly think highly of them and have much respect for their work and dedication]... I'm going to attempt to rate "Wong Fu Production" anyways .. because I think my two pennies worth of opinions could help (As if they would actually have time to read my blog)

CREATIVITY (B-) : I understand that it's hard to come up with ideas, but I think sometimes they could really clean up their plot a little bit. (especially recent works) Less talk, more shoots... sometimes an audience doesn't really need that much information. (I know Wes shot it all in one day... but still... )

DEDICATION (A+) : they have a lot of materials, I would think that the time to edit is twice the time recording it (I was in video production before). So it's pretty obvious with that amount of materials, either Ted or Phil would need to spend a lot of time editing or synching all the music. While Wes spends a lot of time coming up with ideas. Not to mention that they traveled a lot during the year 2006. (those were hardcore...)

CONSISTENCY (B+) : they maintained good consistency in terms of editing quality and plot, though I have to say that most of their stories have pretty much the same taste. If they can just change up their pace sometimes, just a tad bit more. It would be nice to see something new and not something in regards to relationship. [But relationship is their trademark] like Yellow Fever or other controversial matters... not just lovey dovey... but overall, good job on not slacking on editing time...

OVERALL (A-) it's a lot more than any normal fellow youtubers can come up with. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I love Wong Fu, and I'm their biggest fan. I'm just merely giving my two pennies opinions. They're still young, and just getting started in the world of filming and video production.

So if Ted, Phil, or Wes actually got around reading this, and find themselves hating me... sorry... no hard feelings ya?

oh and btw...

I miss soccer
