| Week in ReviewMemo to myself : watch those calculus reviews.
From July 1 - July 7 was basically a holiday. Last Saturday I
went to hangout with Beth during her layover at the airport (why
there's a 2 hour layover on a flight that's only going to Austin is
still a question.) I now know where Bush airport is: valuable in the
future. Picked-up Joy from her class, went home, dragged Joy-dee, Sarah
and Lauren, and Stephanie to see the Devil Wears Prada (the book is
better than the movie), Meryl Streep was good. Apparently Sarah nearly
fell asleep. Lauren decided that Andy should have gotten together with
Nigel, which wouldn't be a problem except that Andy is a girl and Nigel
is gay.
Now, I had forgotten the bag of clothes I packed for the weekend, so I
ended up borrowing Joy's clothes (and being emo/goth) for the weekend
Went to the Fautsch's house and stay up untill 3am with Carolina
and Stephanie. I really should visit more. If gas weren't $3 a gallon
that would be easier. 3 years ago the average price per gallon of gas
was $1.25...
Church on Sunday, saw everyone, went shopping with Mum (and realized
why I don't like shopping). Went to Wild West with Sarah Miller, and
co. And reacted as my normal, odd, blunt-self is apt to do  (sorry
Sarah, couldn't help it..)
Got pulled over by a cop for going 63 mph in a 55 zone.... (that
was odd). Ok, this is situation is there a rule that one must pull over
to the right shoulder?
Anyway..
Monday was quiet, and restful.
Tuesday went to Sarah's house, listen to a jam session involving piano,
guitar, bass and harp, it was awesome! Watch fireworks in the rain
*grin*
got back to College Station with Joy in tow at midnight.
Went to work/class at 8.At 10am, I received a call during which someone
shrieked when I said hello. Joy had been startled by the fire alarm. Ah
well.
Beth came later that night and we stayed up far too late as usual .
We both left at 8am for work/Houston.
Work/class
Got back to the apartment, and Joy and I became pirates!! scarves,
skirts, boots, silk, earrings, bracelets, rings and eyeliner were all
applied. Filling the car with gas at HEB we must have been a sight.
Went to pick up Carolina and met the inhabitants of La Casa! Finally!
And I got to see Mrs. Fautsch! Finally, we ending up at Stephanie's
party where everyone looked great! And I found (Daniel's/Charles') an
awesome hat! Thank you Daniel! Then Pirates of the Carribean!!! So much fun!
.....the ending was horrible...and Will Turner is far too noble to be a
pirate...Elizabeth..not so much. Jack was amusing...I CAN'T WAIT FOR
THE NEXT ONE!
Afterward, back to College Station, to work and class, and SLEEP!!
Now it's Saturday..time for studying :)
