| I can’t stop these chills no matter how much clothes I puton… The events which took place at my beloved alma materVirginia Tech/Cowtown today have left me, and everyone else shaken to the coreand at loss for words. I’m glad andthankful that all my girls and friends are ok and my prayers for their safety wereanswered. However, not everyone was thatfortunate… My heart aches for the victims and those affected by thistragedy. This pain is just too real andclose to home. No doubt...it will leave manytraumatized and scarred.
This act ofbrutality serves a devastating and crippling blow to our University but it’simportant that we stay strong and help each other grieve as well as take stepsgradual steps toward healing. I havebeen deeply touched by the caring attitude of many individuals today. The world has reached out and sent heartfeltcondolences. Together we will get thruthis and show that unity and love conquer all. In this hour of need, I wish I could reach out and hug everyone that ishurting. Never would I imagine something of this magnitude could evertake place in Cowtown. Tech was myrefuge; my sanctuary. Any time I wantedto escape away from the hustle and bustle of life I know it would welcome mewith open arms; it was my place of safety, my cocoon. Today’s events have angered me to the pointwhere my chest felt constricted and I couldn’t breathe. How dare someone snuff out that many lives?? One moment of rage wiped out 32 lives andinjured numerous others. What saddened andangered me the most was the innocent lives that he took. These students got up and like most of usprobably went grudgingly to school like any other day. Little did they know death would be starringthem in the face that day and the moments before getting shot would be their last. As for the killer, what was he feeling andthinking when he stood there, holding the power to determine life/death in thisown hands?? Or like any ruthless, reckless psychopath, did he feel a diabolicalsense of joy? I hope he burns in hellfor eternities to come…He took his own life and I believe only cowards would dothat.
….. It was raining tonight. As I walked outside after work I nearly cried thinking…never again willthe victims feel the refreshing droplets of rain on their faces. Next week the weather will get warmer, butthey won’t be here to enjoy the beautiful Blacksburgweather. Never again will they walkacross the Drillfield and go to the games at Lane Stadium. They’re gone…without a chance to say goodbyeto their loved ones. I ask you to please keep those affected by this tragedy inyour prayers if you haven’t done so. Also to my fellow Hokies: wear orange and maroon to show some Hokie Pride. Rest in peace. We will NEVER forget you and we will NEVERforget this day. “In the arms of the angel

MY year to shine at last!! Supposedly this is the best year to have a baby...interesting, eh?

| you are considered "cool" in my book if you watch one (or more) of the following shows: 24...my addiction at the moment. The most exciting, crazy, intense, and intriguing show ever! Everytime I watch it I feel like it's going to be my last because one of these days I'm going to have a heart attack for sure.
