	I just felt an earthquake I get to work really early (4:30 am) and this morning I felt the ground shake. What is unusual about that is I live in the Chicago suburbs. According to the USGS it was a quake of a 5.4 magnitude and was centered about 230 miles south of here. I hope everybody is OK. CNN

holy crapola. you felt that up there. i shook my whole house. i first sat up and everything was shaking and i thought, "did i have a beer last night?". then i thought it was the wind and then that quickly turned to thinking that a tree fell and hit the house. by the time all the shaking was over i was actually fully awake and realized what had happened. we just had a second one. it was small this time. we are expected to have 3 more, so i have been told.

btw, the house is fine and nothing fell and nothing broke.
