| She said yesIt's been said that next to salvation through faith in Christ, the most important life decisions center on choosing a mate. With this in mind, I'm incredibly grateful for the best Christmas present I could ever receive:

Merry Christmas to all of my friends this Yuletide season! | | |
| 9/11: Lest we forget This photo and the hundreds like it need to be viewed from time to time. We must remember who we are, who our enemies are, and that ultimately the only sure guardian of our liberty and way of life is responsible self-government - not collective and bureaucratized super-power intelligence agencies.
There is no "war on terror." Terror is a tactic used to get attention and is as old as armed conflict itself. This is who we are really fighting. Perhaps when Europe adopts Islamic Sharia law, which they seem to move closer toward on a weekly basis, our own leaders will stop referring to this belief system rooted in control, with its tyrannical tenets of conversion-by-force and total domination of women, as a "religion of peace."
This is for Osama Bin Laden and all would-be Muslim "holy warriors." I may criticize - indeed, rake over the coals - my own government for abandoning its charge to abide by our federal Constitution. But I would still die for the right to live in the independent United States today as opposed to the regime of any Ayatollah. Sic Semper Tyrannis!
"We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared, so we may always be free" - Ronald Reagan.
America will rise or fall to the extent we remain true to the vision of Christian self-government forged by her Founders. We may as a nation stand or give way before the onslaught of Islam or any other high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. However, Christ Himself has already laid each of these usurpers to His reign beneath His feet. "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea" - Habakkuk 2:14.
This is the true message of 9/11. God bless America.

| Pacific Northwest! And so, after a final round with DSSTs this Summer who had been waiting to combat me for quite some time, I traveled two weeks ago to Vancouver, WA. What drew me there was...well, I'll let you look at the pictures. For additional pics, be sure to visit my favorite co-conspirator.
The mighty Columbia River. Makes the Mississippi look like a creek to float toy boats in.
"Balance. Just relax. Now, pick up that sail."
I'm keeping this solid wood lodge door from closing on Jess because it weighs 1800 lbs. Well, not really. It's quite still in the picture, but it really did weigh that much.
Here in the Midwest, we have the fruit of the land. Out there, they have the fruit of the sea. There guys were awesome on the grill.
This was a label underneath a certain volume at Powell's Books in Portland, OR. The newspaper clipping that you can't read in the picture describes how the book contains racist slurs. Mein Kampf? The Origin of Species? Perhaps even a publication from the War for Southern Independence? No. This label was attached to Little House on the Prairie. Oh yeah. Pa & Ma Ingalls were definitely cultural imperialists.
 Shotgun. No challenge.
Let 'er rip! Oops - didn't mean to blow up any historical monuments. Plus, they might have a different type of mine to deal with if this thing detonated on land.
She tells me she has some French in her background...
My "handgun" won't compare. Bother. The real gun is this photo had a 15 mile range.
 No comment needed
Mt. Saint Helens. Absolutely breathtaking. 5 miles to the crater in this photo.
 My best friend. | | |
