Isn't the day after Christmas kind of depressing? Maybe depressing is the wrong word... maybe a better one is "anti-climactic". Hmmm...
Hey! I got an electric blanket for Christmas. It's nice and warm : )
Break has been nice. I haven't done anything really important or momentous (unless getting second piercings is momentous :) ). I've spent time with people that I haven't seen much this year. I've slept in (twiiiice). I've spent money. Heh, a lot of money... I've listened to people. I've talked to people. I've cleaned the house. I've gone to the beach. I've worked out. I've stayed up all night. I've finished a knitting project. I've played guitar. I've skated. I've held on; I've let go. I've been silly! I've facebooked. I've xanga-ed (uhh.. obviously..).
New creation... those words have been running through my mind this week. I'm not exactly sure why, but rain ties into it too I think. God's getting ready to do something cool in my life. I think...
"As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." -Ephesians 4
