Hump Day

Wednesdays suck. Especially BEFORE you begin work. All you can think is "I get through today and I'll be good." UGH. Right now all I can think is "a week from tomorrow and I'll be free and the con will begin". Not really, Thursday night is badge pickup for everyone who preregistered. Last year when I went I was near the front of the lines (seperated by last name, thankfully not a lot of Wongs showed up) and they went back pretty damn far by the time I left.

Two things left to do, cut the edges of my mask (RIT dye for the win) and hem my slacks so I don't step on them all the time. I should probably find an appropriate belt too. Oh yeah, I should make a brainslug for Sunday. K, a lot of things to do. OH! Batteries, I need batteries for my camera. Whew, good thing I'm remembering.

Also, I think I was invited to go to Vegas in May. I think? I dunno, we'll see. It's not a scam, just someone I know inviting me to come along.

I'm already late for work. Bye bye.

WELL... FUCK!!!

I tried using champagne blonde hair dye on cheesecloth to make my mask since the tone of it is pretty close to fleshtoned. While it was sitting in a tub I've decided to use as my dying tub, it looked like it was going to turn out really good. When I went to rinse out the color, wouldn't you know the dye came right the fuck off and went down the drain. SHIT. Now I have to go to a craft store to find tan or flesh toned dye and I only have 2 and a half weeks to do it in. Hopefully my spirit gum that I just ordered online comes in on time... the hat I got off villagehatshop.com only took five days. We'll see.

Still... FUCK.

(Oh yeah, the parts that WERE colored turned out purple. I guess that's one thing I have in common with old ladies, I can't dye worth a shit.)

Hard to Believe Xanga's Still Kicking

I'm away from this for two years, logging in creates an automatic weblog and I get comments on it? WOW. Well, no, I guess just one year? Yeah, one year.

My last blog was because I decided to check an email from Xanga for once, and it said something along the lines of "log in to your page to restart your Xanga!" or something like that. Nice to see there are still other people using it.

What I've Been Up To

- I have to job hunt for the summer, since I wasn't invited back to the park I normally work at for Summer Fun which is right up the street from my house. I haven't started yet because I'm attending Kawaii Kon again and I don't want to have to ask for time off so soon after starting. This year I'm going as The Question, a character not unlike Rorschach who I went as last year (I'm wondering if I should use that costume again, but I wasn't happy with the hat I made). Got some cheesecloth I'm going to use for a mask and some champagne blonde hair dye I'm going to use to make it flesh toned. I HOPE it works out.

- Holy shit I'm listening to Spice Girls right now. Zig a zig aaahhhhh...

- Lots of gaming. Not leading anything, just playing. I'm in love with Team Fortress 2 and I want to marry it and have it's babies. We'll name them Team Fortress 3,4 and so on.

- Hoping something good happens this year.

Yeah, I haven't been up to much really. Every time something good or new happens, I usually blog about it in Myspace. So... yeah. Let's hope I remember to make a new blog sometime before NEXT year.
