A new little angel has come to our family to be loved on.....

A precious child who needs a family and healing love...  Please keep her in your prayers....both of her legs have been burned....

You will be seeing this precious face around....

  Today is a sweet day for me...

       after 5000 miles and 83 days,

              my boy has boxed this up.....

                    ....and boarded a train for the ride HOME!!!

                                         Precious days ahead!!

WEEKEND COMPANY!

Remember this picture from last Christmas when my Xanga friend invited us to go to the White House Christmas Tree Lighting with her family? (Yes, it was very cold!!!)

They have become friends for all seasons.....

Here's the sweet girl that "brought us together" (sorta) ~ and who fast fell in love with our little Brady...

We had a bunch of fun with downonthefarm and her precious family....kindred spirits for sure!

Around the fire fun...

As well as on the beach fun...

So...there you have it ~ another great reason to be a Xangian.....getting to know really cool people (with really nice children) who become lifelong friends to have adventures with!! 

We spent 5 wonderful days in the mountains of Pennsylvania with our Yoder clan....It has become one of our favoritest times of the year!

A very special addition was having Kaylene with us....we decided to have a lil surprise bridal shower to make her feel welcome...

The women of the family blessed her with gifts and words.....

The men did manly things like play croquet...

And kill remove the TWO snakes found IN THE HOUSE (grandpa very calmly~ "I need some help here".)

The annual trek to the ice cream shop...

And the grandkids pancake breakfast tradition....

And clean-up too!!

Lots of games and snacks and trips to the creek.....

Three sweet, interesting little girls make it fun...

Then there was a scavenger hunt planned by the uncles...

Rocket balloons.....

Fun relays......

We are family, each unique and each brings something different and fun to the mix.... and we really missed Shawn and Jeremy!!

Can't wait til next year!!!
