The New Year has started and we are getting into a new routine. We started back up to gym and swim this week, back out at the Painesville Y. We are going on Tuesday afternoon. The class is tiny this session, only 9 kids, but they are still willing to hold the class. I'm so glad, it is a great program. All four kids are in it this session, I never thought I'd see the day.   Jack loved it. Of course the other's did, too. I used the time to work on my bible study and read. I was lonely without a baby to watch in the adventure room. Regan is back to her Monday night gymnastics class, she was excited to get back to that after her "break." Mitchell didn't really have a break from his gymanstics team, but he is getting back to his Tuesday/Thursday evening practice schedule. We went back to AWANA tonight. I had bsf this morning. Regan has baton Thursday afternoon. And then, finally, the older three are going to take Art on Thursday afternoons starting at the end of January. It will be at the same place they've taken art before, which they love, and the work they do is amazing. We are looking into something additional for Mason, maybe music lessons of some sort. Although, I have no idea where we'd fit it in.

I think tomorrow, we may go to the Children's Museum. Our membership expires at the end of February, and they have the sand down there right now. I am not planning on renewing the membership, I usually get it every other year.

The kids got webkins for Christmas and they've taken over our computer. They are really enjoying them. I guess I don't mind them  yet. They haven't caused any problems, and the kids aren't obsessive about them. They actually help eachother with them. I guess I would expect that of them, though.

Christmas Eve!!

The presents are not all wrapped yet. I don't know when I will finish. We are going to go to dinner and then the 7:00 church service. The kids are so excited for Christmas!!!!!  It is so funny how they have waited for so long and now it's finally here. The thing that is neat is that our preschool program at church switched to "Promisedland" this year. The entire month of December has been the Christmas story. So, Regan and Jack have it down pat. This morning Regan told me that "It is Christmas Eve, that means that Mary and Joseph were looking for a room in Bethlehem, but they could only find the stable. Then BABY JESUS IS BORN!!!!!!!"   How cool is that?!?! You've gotta love a curriculum that teaches that to a just turned 5 year old.

I should get a rug rat in the tub so that there is warm water for me when I'm ready to shower.

I can't believe we are almost to Thanksgiving!!! Time is flying by again. Mitchell has been busy with the gymnastics team. Regan is doing baton and gymnastics. All 3 are in  Awana. We are going to Rodanthe for Thanksgiving with 3 other families from our church. I guess we've just been busy living life

We just got back from 10 days in Florida. It was SO hot. Thankfully the house we rented had a pool!!!! Our kids were wonderful travellers. We did 3 days in the Magic Kingdom. The kids loved it. We also spent a day at the beach in Melbourne. Jack hated it, but the other 3 loved it. I think we've decided to look into vacationing in Maine next year, I have to start researching now. We are going for the polar opposite of Disney.

Ron goes back to school on Wednesday.....Praise the Lord!!!!!

Let's see, what have we been doing. We had vacation bible school all last week, "Avalanche Ranch." The kids loved it. It was exhausting. When you aren't used to getting up and going every morning, it's tough. Ron lead a group again this year, so we were all involved. Mitchell still had gymnastics last week, so we had to get him to that. Both boys spent the night at a friend's house on Friday night for a birthday party. They seemed to have a good time. Ron and I took Regan and Jack to HTB and then did some shopping. We went over to the mall, which was kind of fun. We never go to the mall anymore, and with just 2 kids, it was kind of enjoyable.

Today I took Regan and Jack with Sally to Laural Lake. I had gone last week alone and Regan had a fit. She was very happy to get to go today. As soon as we left Sally's house she was thanking me "for taking her to Laural Lake to visit Grandma Meder in her old apartment."

Tomorrow is going to be quiet, I think. Mitch has gymnastics at night. Wednesday is the Cole Reunion. My dad is going with us this year since my mom is in Africa. Then on Wednesday evening Ron and I are taking the kids to Blossom to hear the Cleveland Orchestra and then watch fireworks afterward. Regan keeps insisting she's never seen fireworks.....maybe she hasn't, I don't even know.

I think I'll go work on knitting my blanket for a bit before I go to bed.
