| Hey everyone! This is your president speaking. I just wanted to let you guys know that we have not fogot about you guys. Our next official member meeting will be held on Tuesday Febuary 14 ((Valentine's Day<3)). We will be dicussing upcoming events, community services, as well as passing out our shirts (Yes, their finally in YAY!). So, I encourage all of you guys to attend. And officers, I expect you guys to definitly be there! Okay, we'll see all of you guys on Tuesday in Ms. T's room.

Hello EVERYBODY! Welcome to our DCX xanga! Here we will be posting the minutes of our meetings and anything else nessesary! However we do have the official DCX website with all the information you'll ever need on DCX, SO CHECK IT OUT!!

We will be updating daily, so just keep checking! Oh yeah, our first DCX meeting will be held Wednesday, October 26th, in Ms. Tomason's room (Room 126) and we encourage all of you to come! If you want to join, we're still taking members, just be sure to come to the meeting. We promise you this will be a fun filled year, and we can only make it possible with your coaperation! WHAT IS DCX?

DCX, Desi Culture Exchange is a south east asian culture club that creates awareness of the southeast asian culture by engaging in community services, culture events, and volunteer activites.
If you guys do not know DCX has been running for the past four years. We have many events such as culture events, community services, walks, dandia nights, social events, and a HUGE show at the end of the year planned.
This year we have also opened up a similar club in Clear Brook High School called the DCX, as well. Their club consists of approximetly 40-60 people. What we will be doing...to make the events more funnier we will be combining members from both schools-Clear Lake HS and Clear Brook HS. This is a wonderful way to meet new people and to network your connections along with carrying out our desi culture and spirit.
