| Just been thinking....I was at the Game room with Nichole last week and we were talking about DV. We both miss the place but not like Jose. That guy still cries himself to sleep. Chai came by too, he lives down the street from me and Jake lives on Troy. Irma moved to Lawrance and Pulski, small world. Nichole agrees that if we planned a DV reunion that no one would come, maybe just Jose. They all have their own thing. The best I can do is hangout with them individualy but never in a group, too much planning and time consuming. One thing I learned is that all the DV kids dream of becoming wealthy and opening DV again, they wish they can bring back DV. So they really haven't moved on. You know I haven't heard from Mark in a whille. I think he's from the San Diego area so whereever you are, I hope you are ok. Well I'll be back some other time, I have some old friends I need to talk to. Bye.

| Memories of the past.Hey there! Its been so long xanga. I've been a memeber for over 1400 days. I've been meaning to make a new entry but I just forget or get to sleepy at night but hey I got time so why not. I wanted to talk about Diversions and how I got into DDR. The first time I went to DV was when I was a little kid. My brother took us there one day and I thought it was the greatest thing. We would go there on the weekends or whenever we saw a movie. That was the first time I saw DDR. I thought it was so silly and would never try it. My brother bought 2nd mix and club mix. I started playing and started to like the game. I got DDR US for my b-day and I was hooked. The thing that really got me motivated was one day I was at DV I saw this bitchy, snot-face asian bitch who thought she was cool because she beat paranoia rebirth on expert. I was like "bitch, I'm better than you!" I practiced and totally owned her at the song. After time my brother and I got better at the game but things were changing at DV. The owner had sold the place to a short, greedy Indian man. It was ok at first because he gave us DDRMAX2. DV was still the hottest place. They would make several thousands on a single weekend. It was then were I first saw June(baka orochi) and his friends. After watching them play I was like "Holy shit! They are really good!". We had our rivals also. I remember the guy we called NO-BAR because he refused to use the bar. And there was Erik and his cousin. He was our biggest rival. One of greatest day was when DV got DDR Extreme. We were my cousins b-day party when we got a call saying that they had just gotten ddr extreme. We took off so fast BUT we did stay till my cousins party was over. We got there and the place was PACKED. Our friends saw us and they were like "Yo guys come play, show us how its done." It was a great night. Some time later these new kids started going to DV. Kids from Peterson, Jameson, Von Stueben, Mather, all over the place. By this time we were already friends with Erik and often worked together to master songs. All these asian kids came out of nowhere but we became friends. I remember Jake. Everyone loved him but he would never ever have a girlfriend. Chai(hope I'm spelling his name right) was there. I met him in grade school. He came to our class when he miss his bus, pretty cool. Among those asian kids was Nichole. I was very quiet around them because I had no interest in becoming friends with her or Kevin. But they kinda made me talk one day when I was resting after a game of DDR. There was Pepod and Fred. I always thought they were cousins but it turned out that they were only good friends. I had many wacky times with them. Duc. I remember the first time I saw him. I was playing sakura heavy while Brian was behind me and all of a sudden I heard someone say "Wow, hows he doing it? Those arrows are moving pretty fast!" I turn around when the song was over and saw this long-haired man. I didn't think anything of it. Later that night Brian, Oscar, myself, and the others were chilin outside when Duc came up to us and intruduced himself. We talk for hours and exchanged conacts. We became great friends. Encia. My good friend Florencia. I remember the first time I saw her. She was just sitting there watching us play ddr. She looked lost. I remember we were about to head out with Duc when she asked Duc (a total stranger to her at the time.) for a ride home. She lived like a block away from DV but she didn't want to go home alone at night. She got in the car with us and Duc introduced her to us. She started hanging out more and the rest is history. Jose. He was the cool guy who everyone loved. This guy would never get mad at anything he was always in a good mood. He wanted to get better at DDR so he talked to us and we sorta tought him. Irma and her little crew. These girls were only in 6th grade at the time but acted like grown women. We got along with them and they loved to play ddr like crazy, great kids. 5KEY AKA John. John was a prett laid back guy who loved beatmania more than anything in the world. I gave him the name as an insult because he couldn't play 7key but I guess people liked the name and so did he and it stuck. Johny and Ricky. We grew up with these kids, they lived next door to us. We brought them to DV and they loved it They were real good at ddr, especially Ricky. People loved those kids so much but were surprised to found out that we grew up together. That explains why they were so good at DDR. By this time I had a group of friends at DV and another in high school. These were the greatest years of my life. June would come by DV once in a while but when he came we had good times, funny, funny man June is. Jeannie. First time I saw her was one day I walked in DV and saw her playing. It was so weird, every guy wanted to go out with her. We became buddies but so did every guy that wanted her. I thought she was pretty cool so I asked her out, she said yes. We chilled once but decided to only be friends.Turned out she rejected all the other guys that wanted her, weird. This didn't effect our friendship. I came back to help her out last year on a real big problem she was having. I saved her from a world of hurt. We spent two great years as the DV crew. We had countless adventures and tons of memories. I still remember the night we were told that DV was going to close soon. I was so shocked and so were the others. We were told that this (two years ago) was our last summer. We had the most fun we can before DV closed. It was an emotional summer and we tried so hard to get it off or minds. I remember towards the end of the summer we went to the park and swam in the huge fountain. It was great and we ran back to DV to dry up. We still have picks of that day. I remember the last night I was at DV. I was planning on stealing the DDR Extreme logo poster but Oscar told me not to. That night felt so awkward. I woke up to a call from Oscar, Pepod, and John saying that DV was closed. A bunch of men were moving stuff out and the owner had the nerve to ask Duc "What did I do wrong?" He's the reason the place went to hell. Oscar had planned a final get-together. We all wore black that day and met up at DV. We stood at the front door and stood in silence, like a funeral for DV. We drew right on the floor, DV CREW, and its still there today. We went to the HIP and played DDR as a group for the last time. Kamil, a good friend of mine was there and Russle also. They didn't like that we were shouting out "DV CREW!!!" Oscar and myself calmed them down and stopped what would have been a fight. The HIP closed and we went our seperate ways, that was the last time we were all together. Over the years I would talk to the guys through myspace and aim and sometimes hang out with most of them but we never got together as a group. Jose and I thought of a DV reunion but I think it can never happen. Mainly because all the DV kids have their own things going and they have long since moved on from the DV days. The few people from DV I hang out with is Nichole, Encia, Brian, Erik, and Duc. The DV crew was more than just friends, we were family. I cherish those times. I can never have another DV. Who knows, I might plan a DV reunion. This was something that I was meaning to do for a very long time and it feels great that I finally did it. Well my 20th birthday is this Saturday, I hope I can hang out with some of the old DV kids again. I'd love that. Well people if you read this far I thank you. | Whats on your mind?Hey people! Doing great but I'm in school and every class room is empty. I think I missed something because I'm all alone for the next three hours. So Chicago will be representing the U.S. for the olympics. yay! Fuck you L.A.! I'm watching this Koda Kumi video called ... well I forgot the name but in the video she wears glasses. I don't know about you guys but I go crazy for a cute girl with glasses. So my computer is totally fucked now I'm so fucked. My Dad tried putting some new softwear or something and it fucked up. I had it checked and was told that I need a new hard drive, that means that all my music and pics are gone. I can't update my ipod anymore. I had so many rare tracks and cherished photos that I can't get back. Now I'm buying cd's instead of downloading them. I'm so fucked, now I have to find all those songs again. Oh well. So I've been talking to some old friends from high school and my God have they changed. Abby isthat how you spell it?) looks so different. She is going go school to become a nurse which not too surprising because more than half of my filipino friends become nurses. She may look different but shes still the same sausage toes from high school. Jan is still the same but he never responds to me on my space, I have to call him. Raza is still the same old guy. Antonio is still as funny as he was in high school, we still gotta hang out sometime. I'm jammin' to Chemistry's new song Sora no Kiseki. Very nice! Well I'm off because I'm really bored. タワーレコードのほうは昨日届いたのですが、HMVは発売日より１日遅れで本日到着。
さっそく特典の☆Taku (m-flo) digs CLAZZIQUAI PROJECT のMix CDをiTunesへ！ Before I get into anything I wanna say this. See that pic right there, thats the Taku mix CD that came with the Japanese release of "Color Your Soul". It was limited edition so I coulnd't get to it on time. I went all over the internet to find this but no luck. I went to all the biggest Clazziquai Project forums and fansites but not even the pros know what I'm talking about, they had no clue what it was THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNEW IT EXSITED!!! Now I'm asking if anyone on xanga knows where I can find this Taku mix CD or can find it for me. Thankx.
Oh yeah I bought the album COSMICOLOR+DVD and I love it.Yes people I bought the album not downloaded it, shows you how much I love m-flo. I'm running low on time and gotta run so hope to hear from my xanga buddies. Take care!!! | | |
| Why is Danny mad at m-flo?Once again m-flo pisses me off. "how" you ask, well they released some of the people that are going to be on their next album and some people they are going to work with. I was scrolling down the new songs on the album looking fo m-flo loves Clazziquai Project because I know it would happen but NO. I saw a song called "Love me after 12AM" and the featured artist was Alex from Clazziquai, WHAT!!?? Why just Alex? They couldn't get the whole group, where the fuck was Horan and Sung Hoon? Sung Hoon said in a interview on Yoon's Love letter that the gropup is working on something big in Japan. I assumed that he was talking about m-flo because c'mon the two groups are real good friends and Clazziquai owes it to m-flo because Taku brought them to Japan. Well I guess theres no point in complaining now. Well the new album has alot of great artists and m-flo even did a collab with Edison Chen, a singer from China. He was in the Gudge 2, he played the reporter from Hong Kong. They also did a collab with Koda Kumi, thats pretty cool I guess.Thaitanium is on the album too. Yeah they are a rap group from Thailand so I don't really know alot about them. Oh the collab that caught my attention was m-flo loves Snacky Chan. Snacky Chan is a Korean-American rapper and recently release an album but thats not it. He went to college with Verbal and I met a man by the name Jun(not Baka June) last summer and he told me he had went to the same school as them and even hung out with Verbal. He told me that Verbal had his own little rap group called "School of Thought". The group had 5 members and sometimes he would have girls do the vocals. Verbal actually wrote the song L.O.T.(Love or truth) while he was in that group. Snacky Chan and Verbal kept in touch and he is in Snacky Chan's new album. So yeah thats alot of stuff your not going to read in wikipedia. Well thats pretty much it for me so I'll be posting here alot more now that I have free time.
