| recently in west memphis a young child, the age of 12, was shot and killed by a police man. the police were on a stakeout to catch some thieves who had been on a string of armed robberies. the police quoted as saying that the child looked much older, seemed to be carrying a weapon and attempted an 'evasive manuever.' The child was carrying a toy gun, and I don't know the whole story. The question is though, should law officials be allowed to carry such lethal weapons at ALL times? |
