| Happy Easter!!Hello everyone, I hope yall are enjoying your Spring Break. Well, like always.... I must say somthing about the weather, only because it's been snowing since Wednesday and the tempatures in the TEENS!!!!!! That just doesn't fit for Easter time. Training is going well though. I still have my ups and downs, but I'm on the final section. It's a long section and it's the tuffest section, but the Lord has been good this far.......I'm just praying and trusting He'll bring me to the end. Tonight I'm going to a Hockey game that the Base payed for, so that should be pretty fun. I'm still working with the youth. Yesterday, me and a few of the kids from Junior High went to see a movie a the theater "Meet the Robinsons". It was pretty good, not my favorite movie, but good. After that I went to church for the Good Friday Service, and then over to a families house after that. Anyway I hope yall have a Great Easter. Take care. I shall leave you with a picture of me and some peolpe from my church making winter Taffy. This was like in Feb. Take care.

| Howdy!!Hello everyone, I hope that yall have been doing well. I have no internet or cable at my appartment anymore, so I come here to the library to get online now. Not much in the weather has changed lately. We got about a foot of snow Friday, and a couple nights ago it was 15 below zero, but the sun is out now (YEEEHAA!!). This past weekend I went on a junior high youth retreat. It was soooo much fun. There were a little over 900 students that came to this camp, but only 38 of them were ours. It was a fun-filled weekend with a bunch of snow-tubing, basketball (inside), swimming (INSIDE), broom-ball (it's like hockey), and all kinds of other activities along with good teaching and singing. It was pretty cold at times, and we had people slipping left and right. I have been proud of the fact that I haven't fallen yet since I've been up here. But this weekend while I was coaching a game I took a nasty fall. We were playing against other youth groups, so I was yelling and cheering and grunting and coaching.....being very competitive, and I fell right on my back. The kids started laughing and then yelled "Get Caleb". I thought I was going to die. All the kids started pelting me with snow balls. I was covered.... :o( and no one came to my rescue. It was a tireing weekend, but the kids had fun:o) The kids know I sing because they've seen me in front of the church, and because I sing OPERA when we are standing around at youth group or playing a game, just to be silly. I get asked to sing a lot, but this one guy who has ADHD always asks me to sing OPERA (ALWAYS). It makes him happy and smile, so through out the camp I would sing opera when he asked, even if it was in the middle of a crowd. Remind you there were over 900 students there( sometimes you just have to let your pride go). I love these kids.......and I think they like me to;o) Well, yall take care. I must go now. My time is up on the computer. Toodles | | |
| Hello All Well, the snow finally slowed down up here, but it's still very cold. Last week I got to go snowmobiling. I went to a families house along with some other people to enjoy all the snow we've been having. First, we sat on little saucers and were pulled behind the snowmobiles, and later we got to ride them. Then, that night they had a huge bonfire. And then around 9 o'clock at night we went snow diving or snow swimming..... that was really cold. That day I also slid off the road into a ditch, but was pulled out within 15 minutes. The car was not damaged either, so that was nice. Oh, the other day I was pointed out for using another, I guess, "southern" word. I never thought about it though. The word is "ardy" as in, " I ARDY went to the store" instead of "I ALREADY went to the store". I know that's random. It's just it was kind of funny to see the lady say with a confused look on her face, "I'm sorry, say what". She's always laughing about certain words I use. I just thought that was interesting. Some of the kids in the youth group call me Southern Boy, or they'll ask me to talk southern. Infact, at youth group one night they asked me to help sing, so I did, but before we sang Wade (the youth pastor) asked me talk southern. I said, "Why, yall talk the same way I do." And immediatly every started laughing......I used the word YALL. Something really neat happend this past Wednesday at youth group though, far from the subject of being southern. I got to be with a young man, after youth group was over, as he excepted Jesus into his heart. Very cool!!! Well, have a good weekend. Take care yall.
