Rang DongRang Dong changed its face layout and user interface. It's more clean and upgraded. Quite promising. Anyway, found a CD that could get me back to listening to Viet music since it has been quite a disappointment these past few years. Here goes:

Yup! Luong Tung Quang. It's a long time that I actually like something of his too. It reminds me of his Nhung Cuoc Tinh CD that he sang for Van Son. Interesting. Found the songs quite addicting, except for like 3 songs, which is quite good comparing to other CDs nowadays.
Also, this CD:

Nhu Loan's first solo! She's not bad at all. Just need more chance to prove herself.
And also found some cool interesting CDs from Tinh Production, mostly Truong Vu's CDs.

Okay, aside from that, watched Vua Can Long (Take Care, Your Highness) - finished it awhile back but didn't bother to write a review about it in the last entry. It was excruciatingly painful to watching. Yes, "excruciatingly" is my recent favorite words. Anyway, I love the cast. I really do, but the story is just so-so, probably one of the worst storyline ever. Maggie Siu's first series and she dies! Got to love TVB, right? (Yes, that was sarcasm.) She was decent in there, but at least she wasn't worst ever like some actresses nowadays and their first series. LOL! Don't want to talk about it anymore. Let's just say it's not one of the best Andy Lau series.
Almost finished with Love Multiplication. My gosh! It's so boring. Okay, I get the idea and it's probably what people face in daily life, but they kept going around in circles that it gets quite annoying. I love the cast, just that it only got a tad more ineresting towards the end. Two more eps to go then I'm done. I love Ady An's character in here so much. Hopefully she ends up w/ that one dude. Her character has a multi-layer to it and stuffs. Too bad she doesn't appear as much. Raymond & Tammy has great chemistry in here, but their story is sometimes too repetitive. What I love to see more is the story between Tammy's sister and the dude Ah Kim. Such a tragic story. I honestly hope he doesn't die, but it's not too hopeful on that front. Talking about that, I hope Ady's character doesn't die either.
Aside from that, started Lost in Snow City with Vincent Zhao. Weird and strange myth. It reminds me too much of Lord of the Rings too much. The difference is that this is a "cup" instead of "the ring", lol. I was cracking up so hard when they tell the tale. Chae Rim only appears a bit at the beginning. It's such a shame. Haven't seen her since Warriors of the Yang Clan. Oh well, going to continue watching to see what happens. |
