Good ole Hurricane Rita... Lookin on the bright side, I got a much needed vacation and made a WHOLE lotta memories!!! I might as well make a list of my favorite "evacu-vacation" memories that probably none of you will understand unless you were lucky enough to be there... but thats YOUR loss, lol... Here goes nuttin kids...

Late night back porch cigarettes... Late LATE night "bonding" on the dock... Massive flocks of pelican/ingrid/loons (what the F were they anyway?)... Carnivorous ducks... Trampoline conference calls into the early morning... Gettin hit on by a 14 year old... Two words: SWEET TARTS... Crazy old pakistani boob-grabbin hotel manager guy... Mabank meth-heads... Tryin not to cough too loud... Jammin "Shine On"... CAMPING... Gettin locked out of our campsite... Aunt Vickie's house... Princess... Scattergories... Real TREASURE HUNTERS at our picnic site... Barrs (not funny, boi!)... Playin ball in the hurricane... Dirty jokes with NaNa... Acting drunk in public cuz we're bored... Passin out in the midst of DEEP conversation... Being too scared to pee... ROAD TRIPS... Gettin pierced... Historical Monuments... Hiding from Mabank PD at the pavillion... Over-heated lighters... "Because of You"... Trippin on Brian... Gettin attacked by ants... the Seven Points movie theatre (wtf?)... Fishin off the dock at 2am... Jet-Ski'n it... SPIDERS EVERYWHERE... Super Troopers... The snake/nutra-rat in the lake (Once again, WTF was that thing?)... WAY too many text messages... The Hoobastank concert (by the way, it was awesome)... "Cruisin" around Dallas AND remembering how to get back to the fair... $18 for parking... That freaky guy followin us around takin pictures... Mutant turkey legs... Big Tex... The Texas State Fair... The remix of Keith Urban's "Love Somebody Like You"... Finger Eleven "One Thing" chopped and screwed...

I know there's a lot more, but its 5:41am so I'd probably better go to bed. Sleep tight kiddos!!!

Grrr... It's rainin so I can't play ball... I tried but it's real hard when your goal keeps floatin away, lol... Plus, my glasses don't have windsheild wipers... Yet, lol... However, since there's nothin better to do (except homework, but that would make me RESPONSIBLE ) I figured I would give you guys a rundown of my b-ball fun yesturday...

1 Re-Rolled ankle.....................Enough cuss words to get me the lead in Bad Boys III

Hitting MYSELF in the face with the ball, TWICE............. Priceless, lol

Man, I cannot wait to get back to ETBU in January... Lamar just isnt the same... Ya'll keep me updated on what's goin on up there in Marshizzle (), Texas... On a more serious note, if you are anywhere near Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and you want to help the Katrina victims out, there is a group of various clubs, teachers, and LU and LIT students meeting in the Lamar Institute of Technology parking lot at 7:00am Monday morning... Anyone is welcome... We are all heading up to Ford Park together to put on a huge barbeque for the many Katrina victims staying at Ford Park...
