A Day at Camp

The RIOT Puppet team went to district camp yesterday to minister.  I'm very thankful it was
yesterday and not today. It was warm but cooler, and a very nice day!  We held a short workshop
in the afternoon on puppets and outdoor ministry with the Sr.high campers.  After dinner the team helped
clean up the kitchen, the least we could do for a free meal.   I must applaud those who volunteer each day
in the kitchen.  It's a very hard and non ending job!!  During the evening service the Sr. high campers tried
their hand at a song for the other campers. Over all they did a good job.  After the campers it was the RIOT puppets turn to minister. We had a wonderful time and the campers all seemed to enjoy, especially the blacklight. Hopefully, when I have time I'll post a couple songs on either youtube or here on Xanga.  Hope everyone is

Since my last update my brother, sister and I plus our familes took our parents on a trip to Williamsburg, Va. to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, which will be this Sunday.  We enjoyed a wonderful vacation together!

God says in His Word to love one another.  It is not always easy to love those around us, especially when we don't always see eye to eye.  But when we truly love them, we not only make our world a better place: we please our heavenly father. 

Life has been busy.  Repairing, gardening, and more repairing but life is good because God is faith and so wonderful to us!!  We are all looking forward to celebrating my parents 50th anniversary in July! It'll be fun!!
