Day 12! Crazy! Last night I dreamed of movie theatre popcorn with extra butter. mmmmmm.

My Dad has compared this year's Easter dinner, to that of a United Nations meeting. We'll have a little mix of Italians, Puerto Ricans, and South Americans. I still haven't found anything to wear but I'm sure it will work out. Last year I bought my outfit the night before, while the store was closing and that worked out fine. :)

Despite the fact that all the "children" in my family are between the ages of 16 and 23, my mother still creates elaborate easter baskets for each of us and guides us to them by way of a scavenger hunt: This will never get old.

The baskets, amidst the overflow of chocolate and bright colored beans, are guaranteed to carry our favorite box of cereal (we're kind of possessive with our cereal), a plethera of dental hygiene products (my mom works for a dentist), and special gift (my sister usually gets lip gloss, I get a DVD, etc.). Candy consists of the classic peeps, chocolate bunny, M&M's, peanut butter eggs, malted milk balls (praise him), jelly beans (not crazy about them), etc.

This year, I will have to be content with looking at my basket, I won't be able to partake in its goodness until April 11. Hopefully that day will come and go and the majority of candy will still be there.

my co-worker is doing a de-tox; a "colon cleanse", if you will. I signed up.
yah, for real!
Ive been doing so well eating healthy (I dont count the weekends, if you've seen my pictures at Shady Maple) that i am pretty sure that i can follow a rigid diet for a month.
this would solve my dress dilema, and would also aid in identifying what I am allergic to.
if anyone is interested, i can forward you the diet. its intense. no sugar for 28 days!

....thats a long time.

....(longingly staring at candy dish overflowing with M&M's)

                    ....to be continued.

Tired of lying in the sunshine
Staying home to watch the rain
And you are young and life is long
And there is time to kill today
And then one day you find
Ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run
You missed the starting gun
