| | Criminal Minds - Oh, my flipping goodnessSomeone is completely basing their opinion on Rossi on a fanwank which they think is canon. They posted that Rossi was asked to come back to the BAU. There's nothing on the show which supports that. It was never said anywhere on screen that the decision to come back didn't originate with Rossi. So, no, he wasn't recruited by anyone to find out why the "BAU is falling apart." And, I can point to where Rossi requested to come back (if anything Rossi does can be defined as a "request"), whereas I challenge anyone to find a scene where someone from on high asked him to come. And, then, the person claims that the thread that the discussion is in clearly states that he was asked to come back. Well, I looked. The person who started the thread is a fan of Rossi, and fanwanked some things (but was aware that they were fanwanks) and has a whole theory of Rossi being used by people in the past, and not trusting anyone on the team until he sees where their loyalties lie. All that, but not once in the first post did the person say that Rossi was asked to come back. So, this person who thinks Rossi is a plant is not only unaware of canon, but can't even keep what's posted on a message board (that you can easily go back to and check) straight. But, this person also appears to think that Elle was raped when there's nothing in the show to support that as being canon. And, they can't seem to spell Hotch even though, once again, his name keeps coming up in discussion and is spelled correctly every time. Did this person watch 5 minutes of each episode and fill in the blanks for themselves? It's the weirdest thing. They clearly know some things about the show and past seasons, but then they get half of what they do know wrong. But, it's even crazier that they get what's posted in the same thread wrong.
