| | Kyle and I were driving back from Topeka tonigtht, and we hit some sort of animal. It was dark, about 9:00, and we saw it about two seconds before we hit it. Kyle braked, I screamed, and it just stood there. Kyle thinks it was a coyote. It was really traumatizing. Poor thing.
We had a fun time in Topeka, though. I got to look at what mom's got done of my wedding scrapbook. It's just beautiful! Actually, it's going to end up being two scrapbooks, thanks to all the pictures that everyone took! (Stephanie!) We also got to swim and have dinner and cake and ice cream for Matt's birthday, and then we went up and looked at my grandma's house. She's currently living in Holton, about 30 miles north of Topeka, but they're building her a house in my parent's neighborhood so she can be closer to the family. I'm really excited, because I'll get to see her so much more often. Anyway, the house looks really good. They think it'll be done by October, which is cool.
I'm gearing up for a full week. Homework wasn't as bad as I though it would be this weekend, and I feel like I got a lot done, so that's good. But I've only been to half of my classes, so we'll see how it goes after the other three. I just keep thinking about how wonderful it will be when this semester is over.
