Here is a picture from our walk.

I danced every dance that night except for the swing dances. I'm still not very good at that. But I did dance all the contra-dances and all the waltzes. The band did a great job. I even recognized a couple of the songs like "If All Those Endearing Young Charms" and "Waltz of the Little Girls" which I have on one of my cds. The food was also excellent! (What guy can resist at least giving a little thought to the food, but dancing really was the priority). I would love to see the same arrangments made next year.


Will Glaser, our future student body vice president  and my former roommate,  delivered Patrick Henry's "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" speech.

Out of 17 guys associated with my wing (Jonathan Kanary's), 14 of them attended the Liberty Ball, and 13 of them had dates.

Here is a picture of my wing with their dates. This one has everyone smiling and facing the camera.


But this one is my favorite because I think that it caught Maggie and I in our best moment.

Anyway, I had a great night and it was a great pleasure to take Maggie to the Liberty Ball. My only regret is that it didn't last two or three hours longer! I'm already looking forward to next year, but meanwhile I will have many delightful memories to think about from this year's Liberty Ball.
