| ...where I stand PART 2If we were having any discussion in the comment section, please comment on this entry. Thank you.
Below is where I stand on political issues, part 2:
FLAG BURNING BAN: Nothing says love of country more than denying one the rights guaranteed to them in their very own Constitution. Love America? Then ban their freedom of expression of course. Conclusion: One way or another, you're burning a part of your country. The choice is whether you do it in love (the flag), or in ironic hate, (the constitution). Pick your material, and light asunder! Legal baby. Let it burn, or I ain't really free after all.
NET NEUTRALITY: I am mixed as a motherfucker on this one. It's regulation of business, which I'm against, but without it the internet as we know it might go away forever, and just be TV version 2. But then again, the market would always leave room open for an internet as we know it....but then AGAIN, they might not be able to afford maintaining the initial infrastructure!!!! Ah hell. I'm so torn. I can't exactly trust the government to regulate the pipes, considering how they ended up making the tubes censored (that's tv for the unclever folks)! Ha! No, but really, I'm torn. I support the idea behind net neutrality, but the way it's enforced is just too much. UNDECIDED = (
ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE: By this I mean, the bullshit snake oil salesman try to sell you that doesn't work, but promises miracle cures. Bullshit like megavitamins that will cure your cancer, or bullshit like homeopathy, or transcendental meditation that will cure all sorts of ailments. Bullshit like random herbs that cure AIDS, and other such bullshit (like colonics). The question here is, should one be able to be treated by this stupid worthless method as opposed to, ya know, actual medicine. The sad answer is yes. Idiots should be able to make stupid choices. But the line is drawn when they bring their kids into it. So the answer is LEGAL/ILLEGAL. Legal for YOUR dumb ass, but ILLEGAL for your kids (till they make up their own mind, assuming you've not brainwashed them already with your new agey hippie drivel nonsense).
9/11 CONSPIRACY THEORIES: This one's easy. 9/11 WAS a conspiracy!.....by al quada. Ha, I had you scared there for a minute didn't I? Neither Bush nor any government was directly involved with the plot, that, I assure you. And this does not mean that our foreign policy did not engrage them, because it did. That's the fuel on the fire. But no intent was involved on Bush's part. He's too stupid to pull off such a stunt. And it only did him harm, everyone in the USA and the world hates him. And before I end that, lemme say this. If you mention WTC7 in the comment section, I'll laugh in your face. Because you are stupid. That is all. Good luck claiming that an anarchist is "a puppet of the system", idiot "truthers".
CANNIBALISM: Yikes. Scary thought huh? No really, it is...it's also sick. But if you're batshit crazy, I say, begrudgingly, go for it..... If you wish yourself to be eaten, visa vi EXTENSIVE legal documentation, including video taped recordings, court approval on a case by case basis (to determine no foul play is involved) and an age limit, of 30. This one scares me though. Becase it is really grim, and disturbing. And I really really hate to have to defend this kind of barbarism. But the fact is, you own your body, and under health guidelines....you can choose to be....eaten. = \ . I'm officially a fucking nut job. But it's really nowhere as horrible when you put into perspective, I mean, we do this shit to tons of animals all the time, and we too are animals. But at least choice would be involved here. And I am not talking about human slaughterhouses or anything...
VOTING: Vote if you want to. But it should not be compulsory. Not like it matters though, as the old quote goes, "If voting really changed anything, it'd be outlawed by now."
PUBLIC NUDITY: On private property, get naked as you want. On public property, well, that will have to be voted on, I suppose. A city by city ordinance system. Which, I guess, isn't really that different than what we already have. This is dumb, this isn't controversial at all!
SMOKING BANS: No bans on smoking should have ever been passed, at least not for private businesses. I mean, what the fuck, really. You can't smoke in a BAR in some states now, it's just stupid. If they cared about their health, they wouldn't be drinking, let alone at a bar, we all know that no hot women can be found there (not in America, any way).
I'm sure I'll remember even more stuff tomorrow, or the next day, in Part III. Stay tuned.
Feel free to voice your opinion, agree, disagree, call me an idiot, all fine by me. I don't delete comments (unless it's a bot spamming, of course). Speak freely.

| Where I stand......on political issues. And this is just assuming that I agree with the government even existing, for sake of blog post.
And we will just assume that these all mean on the federal level. As rights should be enforced federally, while other issues, by states.
ABORTION: Keep it Legal. And start using protection you idiot!
GAY MARRIAGE: Legal, federally
DRUGS: Legal. ALL OF THEM.
DRINKING AGE: Lowered to 18. (possibly 16, like in Germany)
DRAFT: Against. I'd really rather a country that supported this completely outrageous and ironic kind of bullshit to just lose any way.
POLYGAMY: Legal. Marriage is pointless in the first place, but if you like making worse a bad decision, hey, go for it.
BESTIALITY: Illegal. It's a public health issue, not to mention cruel, and hilarious. The sentence should be minimal, perhaps probation/fine. Followed by large amounts of public humiliation and shame.
PROSTITUTION: Legal. In the words of the late George Carlin, "Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal??". That about sums it up.
AGE OF CONSENT: That means at which age you can legally have sex. The answer, 14 (such as it was in Canada until this year, it's now 16, I believe). But there must be no more than 4 years difference between the two until age 17. Fair enough right? If 14 isn't young enough for you, then try a goat, it's only a small fine and some probation time. Because either way, the public humiliation bit comes into play, ha!
ASSISTED SUICIDE: Legal. You own your life, do with it as you please. If a person REALLY wants to die, they're going to end their life. Better in a humane, clean way than a horrible and traumatizing way, right? Sad situation, of course. I don't recommend suicide, but some people really wanna die for some reason, so I say, grant their wishes. Of course, mental stability would probably be a requirement, as well as a certain age limit...perhaps 25 or 30, unless someone under that age has a HORRIBLE untreatable disease, in which case, it would have to be granted by a court, perhaps...or maybe just two or three doctors, who do not know one another.
MEDICAL MARIJUANA: All drugs are legal already, didn't you hear!?!?! I just put this on to remove confusion, anyone looked over my "all drugs legalized" bit earlier, for whatever reason.
GLOBAL WARMING: No clue. Someone post me some stuff to sway my opinion.
MANDATED PRAYER IN SCHOOLS: Ha. No. Keep it out.
INCOME TAX: Of all the taxes, we feel this one the most. Fuck taxes, but most of all, fuck THIS tax. It should not only be abolished, but made illegal, per an amendment. I'm not a nut, I just really fucking hate having hundreds of dollars taken out of my paycheck each week. Sheesh!!!
DEATH PENALTY: This one is tough. It's a very emotional issue, and some cases make it hard not to want to support it. But those are almost always purely emotional, and I really think that the government shouldn't be executing citizens. Plus, it's (contrary to popular BELIEF) actually cheaper to keep someone incarcerated for life, than to put them on death row. That shit is COSTLY. Don't believe me? Look it up yourselves. Plus, that old saying comes to mind, "two wrongs don't make a right". Ya digg? Illegal.
FISA: Repeal that shit foo'. No really, it sucks. And Obama and McCain suck for supporting it, but Obama VOTED for it, PLUS the immunity! Sorry good friends and readers of this blog, but fuck you Obama, for doing that. Did you guys also hear that he is expanding Bush's faith based programs, by continuing to give federal money to churches (under "secular" guidelines, he says)??? If the churches must act totally secular, why not just give the money to secular organizations!!?!??! HELLO1????!?!? Sigh. /end rant
OBSCENITY LAWS: By this I mean the FCC regulation of public airwaves. It needs to stop. Let the people (aka the market, I know some people hate that word for whatever odd reason) decide what they want to see on TV, or hear on the radio. If you're afraid of words, don't listen to them. If you're scared of seeing something you see in the mirror daily - but on TV - then don't buy a TV. And if you DO, just watch shit on DVD/Bluray that you yourself pick out. Not that hard, really. And if you are totally poor, then just download movies off of torrents. Simple.
GUN RIGHTS: First off, let me say this. If you were writing a bill of rights for the citizens of your new country, in which you gained the ability to do so only by having guns, would you then make the second amendment a guarantee to give guns to the military, or the people? I mean really, all those people who say that the second amendment is for militia really must not think very hard. Why bother adding an amendment, the second one no less, that guarantees the right to bear arms for THE FUCKING MILITARY? Think about it. The answer is simple: legal, legal, legal. Have a machine gun if you want to, the government does. And if a power hungry war starting group of thugs, err, the government - can have those guns, why not you? PEACE. Also...I request that no one use the silly, stupid argument about nukes/bombs here. Obviously, those things have no purpose but offense, not defense. I don't even think governments should have them.
FREE SPEECH: obviously, yes
FREEDOM OF/FROM RELIGION: Of course
ALL THE OTHER GOOD RIGHTS: yes.
THE IRAQ WAR/ WAR IN GENERAL: Fuck war. And fuck this one. Even if Iraq had "wmd's" (they didn't), I'd still be against this war. Guess who else has nukes, ISRAEL, but they're our fuck buddy. War is bullshit, the defenders are the only ones who can be justifed, because they are reacting, and defending, NOT advancing. So yeah, I hate to say it (only for fear of being ostracized), but the people in Iraq are merely fighting for their homes, and land. We are the bad guys, we're the invaders. We're not always the good guys, sorry to have to be the one to say it...but we lost, and we deserved it. Not that death on either side is good, but if you go fucking with other people, don't expect them to just lay back and welcome you................../end controversial opinion
What am I forgetting???????

| My dog KolaWe first adopted him at around two or three weeks old. He was a tiny little puppy. White as a polar bear. The inspiration for his name came from watching those Coca Cola commercials, where the polar bears would drink coke. He was just as playful and resembled so closely to those furry polar bears, that it just stuck. Hence, his name, Kola.
Kola is a German Shepherd, and since being a pup, he really never did seem to like attention much. We'd lay next to him, petting him, and he would try to keep his space. He liked laying near us, but showed his affection (perhaps) by just being close. His favorite spot was the foot of the bed, on the mattress. As he got a little older, and bigger, he could no longer jump all the way on top. So Kola did the next best thing, and lay right at the foot, on the ground, touching the bottom of the bed.
As much as a human can, I love this dog. My dad loves this dog, and my brother loves him. He never spoke to us, never said hi , never waved goodbye --at least not in English--. He did, however, pant in excitement when we got home, he also jumped up in what seemed to be joy at the sight of us. He would raise his paw to us, to let us know he needed out, or grunt when he needed us, waiting patiently, seated at the side of the bed, or couch, seeking our assistance.
He did little things that helped us each paint our own idea of his personality onto him. And we seemed to want to paint a good one on him, so that to me says that he only brought happiness to me, and those who "knew" him.
A few weeks ago, I awoke to horrible sounds, and found many large puke spots all over the living room carpet. We actually have two dogs, Roady (for being found near a road...hah), and of course, Kola. We fed them both a special dinner that night, the juice from our pot roast mixed in with their dry dog food, and we assumed that they had both simply gotten sick from eating too fast, or perhaps, too rich of food.
Days passed, without incident, until again, we found many puke spots. We cleaned them once more.
We saw that, the next day, Kola was dry heaving, and in our rush to aid him, he threw up all over our carpet. This went on for days, until it was time to take him to the vet. My dad told himself it was nothing, as he is very fond of dogs, and gets attached to them as if they were a close friend, much like myself. But the worried thoughts in our minds couldn't be settled, and we thought up all the horrible diseases it could be. Parvo? Addison's? Diabetes? Maybe it's just a stomach bug? Or maybe it's nothing....maybe he just has an upset stomach.
I got home from work the day that Kola had been taken into the vet, only to discover that he was not there. He was nowhere, and Roady was lying on my bed, half way under our covers. Unusually quiet. I feared for the worst, but soon found my dad. He let me know that Kola had suffered from kidney failure, but was not yet dead. He told me that they were flushing out his kidneys, and that he was on an IV overnight in the vet hospital. The hope was that it would encourage new cell growth in the kidneys, and perhaps boost him back into health.
He got home the next night, with anti-pain and anti-nausea meds. There existed no treatment for kidney failure, short of transplant, which was exceedingly rare and costly in dogs. Not that the cost stopped us, but even if we had limitless supplies of money, the donor list for dogs was TINY.
He vomited multiple times that night, and when I went to go let him outside, I could see him trying to go to the bathroom, to no avail. Nothing happened. He had a half smile on him, as if not to make us worry. It was raining, and quite dark. Kola walked out in the yard, and sat down, ears down, staring into space, panting, with a feigned smile. He stared for 30 minutes. In the rain. He would not move... I did finally get him to budge, and he went back inside, and I could see where he had vomited while merely trying to get a drink of water.
Kola had lost over 50 pounds in less than a week, our vet told us. And this was less noticeable due to his thick coat of pearly white fur...he's breathing very heavily, and he's being very lethargic. He is suffering from uremia.
His waste is not being filtered out, and is slowly creeping into his own blood stream. His urea, that is....
Sadly, nothing can be done for Kola, and it is selfish of us to want to keep him around while suffers so much. He will be euthanized tomorrow morning, very early in the morning. He won't suffer any more, as he simply won't be. He won't know, he won't care.
The worst part is the realization that this is FOREVER. Never again will we see Kola again. Ever. No matter what. And then the realization hits that this happens not only to beloved dogs, but to those who care for them. Everyone now who is crying and sobbing over his impending death will one day be dead, forever. Humans fear for their death, but dogs, I don't know, I hope they don't fear it.
For Kola, his suffering will come to an end, in a humane manner. I only worry now about his doggy pal Roady, who has known him since he has existed.
We all die, and we try not to imagine it, but it comes. It comes no matter what. No matter what we do, no matter.
The biggest irony about life, is perhaps that sad fact that those who bring you more happiness in life, cause more sadness in death. The happier you make people, and the more you mean to them, the worse you will unfortunately end up causing them to feel, no fault of your own. All the happiness, all the laughs, all the fun, all the joy, and the memories, they amount to the opposite of what they did in life, with death, and they remain that way far longer than they did in life.
Fucking sad.
...and if you want to know what Kola looks like, google "white german shephard", he looks pretty similar to many of them. Although Kola has a distinctive look on his face, it's the way he smiles, or perhaps it's only the way I imagine him. I am afraid that I do not have any pics of him on my computer, but I will upload some tomorrow when I get them off my dad's laptop.
I LOVE YOU KOLA....I will miss you.....
He is seven years old.

| Ancient 'Dead Sea' Stone Tablet Predates & Might Rewrite the BibleEXCERPT:
"A three-foot-tall tablet with 87 lines of Hebrew found near the Dead
Sea in Jordan that scholars believe dates from the decades just before
the birth of Jesus is raising eyebrows in biblical and archaeological
circles, especially because it is believed to speak of a messiah called
Simon who will rise from the dead after three days, suggesting that the
story of Christ's death and resurrection was not unique but part of a
recognized Jewish tradition at the time."
Full story: http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2008/07/the-ancient-scr.html
We shall see what comes of this. No doubt Christians will deny it, despite the fact that if it were beneficial to them they'd embrace it in a heart beat.
Keep in mind that I am not embracing this totally yet either, just because it supports my position. We shall have to wait and see what the consensus is! But there is no reason to think that they are fake by any means, which is cool. But I'll be fair and wait.
