i had the most incredable time!  if only for the different perspectives and cultures i got to experience.  i have tons of pictures and alot more to say about it, but i'll save that for another entry.  i just wanted to reasure you all that i'm still alive since it's been so long :).

so i don't really have much to say.  or maybe i do, just not the right words to say it with.

do you ever wonder why our society has such a fixation on perfection?  and not even a good perfection at that.  but a fake one?  people are so obsessed with appearences.  who is it that decides what's beautiful and what's not?  i don't want to be told i have to do something, i have to change myself to be beautiful.  no one does.  no one should have to feel like they need to be someone else to be loved.  i am so blessed to have friends who love me for who i am, who don't care what i look like or how i dress.  some people i know aren't so lucky, and it hurts them.  i have seen people give their lives away trying to be something they're not, just looking for acceptance...  i dunno...  this is just what i've been thinking about, and i could say alot more about it, but i don't know if thats a good idea or not.
