Hey! Sorry I haven't posted anything entertaining here for awhile ><
So the first day I moved into the dorms, my RA (Resident Assistant) welcomed me to the dorm, formally introduced himself, and noted that he conveniently lives next door to me. Nice right?
Just last a few days ago we had our formal dorm meeting, where we got to meet everyone on the 3rd and 4th floor (I'm on the 3rd) and talk to some of the other RA's as well. They scheduled an academic meeting for anyone who would like to attend. Apparently the RA's get credit for holding those sessions.
Last night I went to this academic meeting only to see that the turnout was weak. Out of the 52 (estimate) people who were invited to come, only four of us showed up ._. I felt bad for the RA's, especially my RA, since he's the one who planned it ><
In the end, however, I was really glad I came, not because I received personal academic advising, but because I was able to get to know my RA better, and that made me more comfortable. He really is a cool dude, and I'm glad it's his job to be nice to me :P
So his name is Jeff, and while we were casually talking in the lounge area, one of his RA friends got into youtube videos and how you can find the most random stuff on there. Then she slipped in my reason for making this weblog.
Apparently when Jeff was a freshman, he had made a random video on youtube straight out of boredom. A few years later, a random janitor walked up to him and said " Hey, I got shit on you." Surprised, Jeff suspiciously asked, " Who... are you?". Pretty scary yea? The embarrassment came when the janitor said that he saw the video that Jeff had made. Of course Jeff couldn't help but ask " Um.... WHO... ARE YOU? and where did you get that from?". Casually, the janitor replied, " the security guard told me about it." HAHAHHAHAH---ahem. So basically, his video was going around campus and he had no idea.
Good story, yea? So this is where I come in and share it to the world, my awesome RA, Jeff. In his dormitory. Same one as mine. With his friends. He's in the white.
