Came home from MCAT class last night and the Headmaster of my high school was at my house having dinner with my parents.  It was great being able to interact with him on a different level now that I'm no longer at Haverford.  Just a reminder of how much I've grown up since then...

If you're not watchin Iron Chef on the Food Network then get your butt in gear.  Soooo good!  And it even has it's own drinking game (rules on the web).  Where else can you see the best of Japan's chefs battling it out in Kitchen Stadium, using a theme ingredient in all of their dishes, and being judged by 2 actors, a song writer, and a fortune teller?!  Best show ever.  Plus the English dubbing of the Japanese is really funny.

Hey Guys, I've been feeling bad latley because I've been pretty negligent of some people that deserve my attention.  It's easy to get wrapped up in life's craziness but that still is no excuse.  So I'm just asking for you to hold on a little while longer and I'll be back again.

I don't have time to post what's been going on with my job and MCAT class at this moment but I wanted to quickly share something that happened the other day.  When I was a little kid my parents gave me a BB Gun.  I loved that thing cause a lot of my friends had them too and we would all go out and shoot stuff together.  One day I tried to load the thing with some squirrel pellets I had and I jammed them in the barrel.  I was so upset that I had broken my gun and so it stayed in its box on a shelf in the garage for years.  That broken gun was always hanging over my head for some reason.  I don't know why but it was just another bad memory from my childhood that stuck with me always.  Then, the other day it just came over me to get that thing out and see what I could do.  I don't know where the idea or inspiration came from but I just went to the garage, took out the gun, took it apart, fixed the problem, and put it back together.  It was so easy!  And now it's completely operational again.  I can't describe the feeling of joy I had when I heard the air shoot through the barrel once again, like it had so many times when I was a kid.  I think that a sort of peace came over me and I finally had some closure.  This probably sounds silly to most of you but it was a very big deal for me and I thought it was something I should share.

Dude, it's been a while since I last posted.  Hmm, let's see what's been happening...

I would like to give a great big thanks to Beth for a wonderful time in Sctoland and London.  The trip was the perfect thing I needed after what has to have possibly been the worst semester ever (too much drama combined with personal problems).  I think we're all glad it's over.  Back to the trip, we went out drinking every night in Scotland and we went to one of the best clubs I've ever been to in my life when we were in London.  It was called Walkabout and Australian themed.  We had these drinks called snakebite or snakevenom which consisted of half beer, half hard cider, and a shot of vodka...very good.  Plus they played the best music: old, new, dance, hiphop, plus all the pop culture songs we sing along to.  Definitely a good time.  Then on the night of the 25th Beth and I put away 3/4 bottle of Vodka and went out to this club called Faith, an old church that was renovated into a dance club.  At midnight I turned 21, we partied until 3am, and then I caught a plane at 11 to go back to the States.  At home Pat and my friend Tom came over for dinner and afterwards, needless to say, we did some more drinking.  What a way to spend my Birthday!  So, I think it's fair to say that shots of Absinthe, Red Bull and Vodka, and a 29 hour 21st Birthday will forever remind me of that trip.

Now that I'm 21 I don't know if I feel any different.  21 sounds old but I still feel like a kid.  I think that there are so many things I still haven't done and resloved in my life that I don't feel like an adult.  I wonder when all that will change?  I have a feeling it's going to be a lonely summer...

Hey All! Daron here, I'm in London now and having a grand time.  Beth and I took the train from Scotland down to King's Cross and pretended like we were in Harry Potter :)  Beth, of course, being that slut Hermione...and speaking of sluts you wouldn't believe how Beth gets type-cast every where we go in Scotland.  She was the Drunken Prostitute on the Ghost Hunter Tour, drunken naked girl at the Edinburgh Dungeon whose punishment was to have her nipples stapled to her forehead, and also Lady "Something" who dumped the anatomist but not before giving him an enscribed scalpel and sleeping with him!  It's been great.  Last night we got really, really drunk but I will give more details when I get back.  Thought you would all want to know these few things though.  Cheers.
