Update on Life @ ORU

In the past few weeks, there has been much studying and hanging out. A couple of weeks ago, I ended up studying all weekend, which really paid off because I made an 86 on my Oral Com test! The test that I had barely studied for turned into an open-book test! Praise God!! I felt better about this last round of test. I'm still not where I would like to be, but i'm improving as I go along!

Last week we had fall break, so I got to go home to Texas!!!  I was able to go watch my high school band perform at contest, as well another band I have friends in! They both made 1s, so that was awesome!! Didn't really do all that much on monday and tuesday. I studied a little. Went to school with my mom and Wednesday and Friday and got to visit with teachers I had and friends from high school! Did an interview with the elementary principle for a speech i'm doing on No Child Left Behind. Thursday, went to Amarillo and got to see a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a long time! We had the opportunity to go to a college football game, where I got to see more friends of mine! It was great! Then, Friday I went to watch my high school play footballl, as well as their pep a rally. I also got my haircut, so that was great!! Then, cooked on Saturday, came back Sunday!  My sister's best friend also got engaged!!!!!

This week has consisted of studying and hanging out as well. I went to a movie with some friends last night and saw Invincible! Great movie!! ORU should get football!!! The rest of the weekend will consist of studying for two tests, preparing for a speech, and writing two papers. Then, one more social activity, that is if I can squeeze it in.  Anyway, I better go, so i'll post more soon! Cya! God Bless!

Many things have happened since my last post! Last weekend was basically a hang out time, in which I didn't really get anything accomplished..lol! It was great fun though! We went to Cheddars to eat, then played freeze tag and sardines (basically hide and go seek in the dark) with some brother wingers! Don't remember what we did Saturday night, but Sunday night we went to the park and played Sardines. This week was a pretty good week for classes! Starting to figure out how I need to study, so that's always a great thing to report on!! Tonight, had the opportunity to a comedy thing at the church I go to, which was hilarious!! Then, played Phase 10, which was fun, especially when I finally got the concept after a few rounds! My sisters and I did get new phones since we switched to Sprint! They're great! They have a camera, mp3 player, video, as well as other phones! Once I get the numbers transferred from my cingular phone to this one, i'll be very happy!! Tomorrow: get numbers transferred, study, then the fair! Great fun!! Well, I better get! I'll post more soon! God Bless! Comments are welcome!

Looks like it's time to make a post..lol.  This month has been great!  I still miss Friday night football games, but college life is great!! I got to go on a retreat with my brother and sister wing, as well as mine!  It was great to have some bonding time and get to know each other more! We got to go on a hay ride, then we played a game called maphia in which I learned that I can't lie.  That's a good thing! We got to do a couple hours of work on the farm. It felt great! Got some great pictures!! My new profile picture is actually from there! Classes are going very well! I've already had some tests, so that's good! Great times have come and are still coming!! Yesterday, I updated everything facebook, profile pics, etc... I'm also doing the Big Brother, Big Sister thing for Community Outreach! That's exciting!! I'm looking foward to that a lot!! I miss kids! Well, that's it for now! I'll post more soon! Cya!
