A very big Thank You!!

I just wanted everyone to know how special my family is!  The boys and I have been visiting with my brother and his wife this week.  Dallas and Ali, I love you and all your chillens' too!!  Thank you so much for all that you have done... I am forever grateful!

Happy Monday!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!  I got to spend the day at the horse races with some friends, we had a great time!  Neither of us won the diamond, but we did have fun! 

I blew my calorie counting this weekend!! There was a party Friday night, for my boss' ten year anniversary, a family reunion Saturday afternoon (awesome time there! So good to see everyone!), and the races yesterday!  But I am back on track for the week.  It's time to get serious!!!  I'm hoping to try some exercises this week and work them into the routine. 

Today is my baby brother's birthday, Happy Birthday Dallas!!!!! I am so very proud of you!!! I love you!

Well, Jared made it back Sunday night about 10.  He had a great time, and he definetly looked older, LOL.  He brought me a present too :)

I'm still doing my calorie counting!! Although, the weekend was quite difficult. 

Anyway, not much up for talking today, just wanted to give an update!

Worried Mother

Well, at 8:00 this morning my first born loaded a bus to go to San Antonio with the Big Blue Band.  I am a nervous wreck.  I'm sitting here at my office desk wiping tears!!!   I know he will have a great time, just please pray for his safety during this trip.  He will be returning on Sunday.  Ahhhhh!!!

On a lighter note, Amy, Melissa and I went to bingo last night.  We had a great time, Melissa cracked me up so much I almost missed a bingo!  I'm sorry you didn't win, hunny!!!  It was nice just hanging with the girls.

I have also started on a venture to change my health!! In a sense, that means diet .. but that's a bad 4 letter word!   The doctor has put me on a 1500 calorie, low carb, low fat diet.  Yay! (note: this is with sarcasm)  I started Monday and have been doing well to stick to the calorie part .. carb and fat .. not so much.  Mainly the carbs.  My name is Dawn, and I am a carboholic.   However!!!   Three days on it and I have lost about 2.5 lbs!!! Woot!  I'm up to 6 8oz cups of water a day .. hoping to make it to 8 today.  Wish me luck!  One of my other goals is to write in a journal once a day .. wonder where I can get one of those...  Oh, look!!! A journal .. with pretty pages and music ... right here!!! (note: again with the sarcasm)  Geeze I crack myself up.

Anyhoo, I will be putting forth great effort to post here on a daily basis.  Now, I must get to work!! Have a great, wonderful, blessed day!!!!!
