I guess it's that time again... time for my monthly xanga update. Haven't really been doing much, except trying to get better at photography.... and dancing. Hit a big ass slump in motivation levels in relation to dancing, trying to get some motivation back. Back to the photography thing... I guess to summarize for the month of August... Had my first paid gig recently, (It was a baptism....was totally not ready for it, but I thought "What the hell, the pocket change can just help out by buying more lenses... this is an expensive hobby and I don't plan on going pro, it's just for fun".) and still constantly learning. It's been almost 5 months since I got the Canon 30D (back in May), and I'm still figuring out all the functions....and man, that camera has a ton of potential. Never thought I would be so into it. Seems like I'm still having issues trying to master aperture, shutter speed, and the proper lighting techniques. Especially lighting techniques. So HARD! Anyways, enough of my jibber jabber, here are some pix of what I've done so far. Any postive (or negative) feedback is appreciated. BAPTISM:
