hey guys... i havent updated in a while and this Elizabeth chick is being wierd sooo... here it goes.

userped in the moments of a life of faith....
lifting the eyes and damning the lips of your enemies...

Holding on to the past experiences and making change.
life is yet to be a sin and a sin is only perfect.

TO YOU

Though you don't live next door,
though you're forty-five minutes away,
You're still here in my thoughts
every week, every day.

When events of the day
cause this soul to despair,
just the sound of your voice
makes them easy to bear.

When I don't have the luxury
of feeling your soft touch
or taking in your scent,
which I appreciate so much,

I need only look back
at the times we have had
to wonder if I've
any right to be sad.

You're truly a blessing.
I want you to know
that I care for you deeply,
wherever I go.

DREAM

As I lay there… my eyes pierced by yours…
Seemingly important that I whisper these words
So long they've begged me… pleaded at me to speak them aloud
They nag at me… poisoning me with their toxic silence

These words will never come from my mouth….
A fear rises inside of me always keeping them back.
Its not what I behold… not what I lack…
Simply a feeling about to implode within me…

I must relinquish my feelings…
I must scream out.

I notice that no longer do I look into your eyes…
But I now long to taste your lips…
So red… like a crimson blood…
This attracts me more than should be

From your lips my glance moves to your heart
Surrounded by a shield…
A shield easily penetrated by man
… Flesh… Ever so useless

Gazing at your sun-scarred skin…
How beautiful you are…
If only…. If only you were pallid… as the moon…

Slowly a mist wrapped you…
a blanket of white intoxicate fumes enveloping you
You gag, and choke down the reality of our situation…

Unable to speak you utter in silence…
Mouthing the words…"I love you"
My eyes grow wide as I mentally remember this moment…

Without a single hesitation I exhale the words I've so longed to whisper into your ears.
"I love you as well" I scream… but you don’t hear me
I reach out my hand to touch with yours, but you're too far…
Out of reach… willing my fingers to stretch I reach out of my mist and into yours…

My fingers gently rub your neck and you dissipate to the touch…

I awake to see you standing above me… your eyes full of love…
"I dreamt I had lost you" I articulate…you only smile as if to say…"Never"

KILL ME NOW

Kill me now
Put me to rest
Take this broken heart out of my chest
Grind it and burn it to hell
Release my pain so my soul can sail

My eternal hell is loving you
Knowing I can never possess love come true
Hurting so much to just want to hold you as mine
Hating myself for messing up
For never being enough

Kill me now make my tears stop
Slit the vain that I will spill every drop
Count down the moments of every last breath

-Just a second before I die-

Tilt my head to look at you
So that I may see an angel
A receptical of light
This is you

Burn my heart so that it may never love again
So I can truly say you’re my love for life
The only one in my heart

-Burn it to hell so that we may never part

NINE FINGERS FOR SEVEN ROSE PETALS

As you slip the noose around your neck
I gently nudge you off the edge of reality
Spread your wings and fly, my angel.

Nine fingers of the hand of spite
Grip my leash, and pull me into a calm void
I couldn't fall much farther now.

Am I still the same
Only I know and all I know is what I know
Its not what I want anymore.

The sparrows have tormented me
Driving me mad with discontent
They will pay, the feathery bastards.

How much longer can I scrape at the bone
Before it turns to ash and disolves
Like everything else
Everything but me.

You are red with the petals torn from your rose
That same sweet smile maintained
Seven rose petals, a sweet scent of affection

I enjoy observing this.

UNTITLED

Just a moment ago it seems

We were walking beneath the trees

Your hand in mine, and our hearts beating as one

Our fingers intertwined, and our blood rushing to steady rhythmic tones

Your hair matching with mine in a race that the winds control

Our lips quivering, craving another taste

If you lay with me

On the concrete floor

Count the stars with me

Until we can count no-more

Hold hands with me

Until we’re old and poor

We’ll grow old together

Just like you wanted

Eighty years young… live and kickin’ it!

But, back to reality

What a dread

Merely holding hands

With a single tear shed

Was it your eye?

Or mine?

Crystalline void of aquatic emotion

Slide gently down my cheek

So as to remember you

For it wont be long…

And you’ll come again

But this time out of joy

Just a moment ago it seems

We were walking beneath the trees

Your hand in mine, and our hearts beating as one

Our fingers intertwined, and our blood rushing to steady rhythmic tones

Your hair matching with mine in a race that the winds control

Our lips quivering, craving another taste

so.. here it is... my emotions and the basis of most of my poetry and storywrites to come...

"So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell. Blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?"  -Pink Floyd

Well.. here i have A picture from my party.. there really werent that many of ME.. and those that there WERE of me.... sucked... this one isnt that great either, but.. its all i can put on there without looking at myself and thinking picasso had a field day..

Time for a new poem....

Distemper

Gradually I came into existence.
Unbeknownst to the path I would choose.
Undermining the decisions I could make

We are all tainted.
Chained and deceived.
Lynched and abused,
Lead around by the collar of malice.

So, here I stand, inseparable of decision,
On the face of my preference.
Sweat dripping down the lips of choice.

Fascination of pain,
Chained and deceived.
Lynched and abused,
Lead around by the collar of malevolence.

Miraculously I fail,
To accomplish the truth in me.
And, that is my belief.

Those that brandish collars,
And so proudly divulge.
Take the words of our ancestors,
And throw them in their face.

So, ill continue searching for the things to say.
To cause an indulgence
And form a reliance that states,

“We are all beasts,
Leashed, and mislead.
Strung up by trees and beaten.
Following, manipulated, strangled by hatred.”

Consummation of the flesh will disembody us all.
And leave our spirits floating freely.

What a world!
-J.A. Maurice
