A girl who was once a very close friend sang this on a retreat I just got back home from. We used to sing together when we were younger, but this was the most beautiful time I’ve ever heard her sing. There were some hard times that pulled us apart, but the faithfulness of God to draw her back to Himself is so good. She shared with me some of what the past had held, but also how God had reclaimed her heart. I couldn’t help but cry at the sincerity of her striving after Him. God amazes me.

mmm... it's easy to say the words about only burning for Jesus... but when I look at my life and see how many times I burn for other things... *sigh* it's very convicting.

For me, a lot of times, that passion is hard to keep. But then when I find it again, it's so amazing, and I wonder why I wanted to let it go.

That's awesome! It's so exciting to see God's grace made manifest in a friend's life. Reminds me of the awesome song by P.C.&D. "Your Grace Still Amazes Me."

Oh wow..I didn't know that photo was up there. But yeah, isn't it great? Even though the Danish cartoon thing is a bit old...still quite telling, though.
