Well guys, I was looking through my documents and I found this word document, a little blog of sorts I had written two years ago.. I liked it.. so I'm posting it lol.. enjoy. When God created and set man in charge of the world, God had only one rule: Don’t eat from the tree of Good and Evil. Man could live in happiness and harmony and do whatever he pleased, except he couldn’t eat from the tree. One rule, how easy would life be if there was only one rule? Not as easy as it sounds in reality. With freewill come many things, one of which is curiosity. They say Curiosity killed the cat? Curiosity killed Adam and Eve. If you think about it almost every sin that’s been committed has stemmed from curiosity. People want to know and understand things, but at the same time they don’t want to look immature or stupid by not understanding things. So our curiosity outweighs our judgment and that is where the stumbling begins.
Anyways, people basically want to follow God. It may not seem that way to you when you think about your life, but God created us with a longing for Him. God is our Father in heaven. He is sort of like our dad here on Earth. Most of us love our dads and want to get approval from them, but at the same time we want to make our own futures and have our own lives where we make the decisions. We don't like control over our lives, yet we know we need it at times. God's control is perfect and thus shouldn't be ignored, our parents, on the other hand, shouldn't be ignored, but as people, they aren't perfect... and thus wouldn't, in every case, know what is best for us. God did put our specific parents in charge of us and we are called to obey them as long as it doesn't interfere with His plans, or go against His word. There is a reason God put our parents in our lives... and we have to accept that. Anyways I'm going off on a rabit trail... well I guess I'm just tired of writing, so I'll finish this blog later...
ya, I really will finish this later, I'm out tho lov yas ~Dustin
