Dilemma: Sing or not to sing?

Lately i'm really BROKE.... as in, income wise. I don't get much jobs lately, because of course, there's not much jobs available plus my assignments are killing me!!
However, recently, God answered my prayers ( i keep praying for a better job)... & i am offered a singing career . Not any typical ones like cafe or lounge, but one that would bring me to HongKong & eventually signing a contract.
How, people? The problem is, i love my course, but i also love singing (i can sing for 7 hours in Neway). Also, i have a nicely prepared route to psychology degree & masters... while another side, a route to (if possible) stardom.
However, what if it did not turn well? I'll just be rejected & humiliated by the public. Example, "If cannot sing, then save face la!!"
Well, on the other hand, what if i don't get a good job or end up hating my work life as a psychologist? Will i be sitting back & regret my choice?
Hmm.... why can't i have both!

Roses are blue ;)

It was like any other day, not an anniversary, not a birthday, not anything, just a normal college day...
I woke up sleepy, get myself ready, go to the stupid college. But, that day is abit different... a surprise bouquet of roses awaiting me early in the morning at college doorstep Whole day 8 hours in college, i carried a bouquet of roses evrywhere... some people are soooo jealous (hahaha) while there are some people who thot im mad--->
But nevermind, that day i feel that college life is GOOOOOD.... nice, i love surprises.

I need men who can be there to help me handle my troubles & problems (yes, i admit i'm very dependent & proud of it). But it seems men are only there when i'm FUN & free of problems. GeeEEeeeeEEeEeeezz... my girlfriends are the best helpers. I got a feeling i'm turning lesbian soon.

Adventurous day -_-"

It all began with the intention of casting. The first adventure of the day is to search for THAT PLACE at the boulevard, but im not gonna talk too much about that; as HE said, I dun wanna mention about it...
Let's jump tht part. Anyways, after the sweating & walking, we stop the search & went to 1utama. We went there, and like most adventures, there got to be obstacles. Our obstacle? Some YUCKY food! I wont mention which shop izzit... but just bear in mind, DO NOT get cheated by shops that hv long queues! Darn it.
Then, we were suppose to watch movie, but becuz of ME (blushes) we can't find the cinema. I kept telling him that the GSC is at the old wing, in the end, hehe, u can guess it, we dun get to watch anything :S Not to mention, i'm the one who made US go to 1utama, but it turned out the queue was as BAD as midvalley... sorry again... next time dun beleive wht i say LOH...!
The BIGGEST obstacle comes next; is when we look for his car. I'm blur, while my dear fren is a forgetful fella (i thot i'm the only one who forgets number plate. LoL!) What a combination: blur + forgetful = 45mins wandering at the parking lot.
I have a feeling that i wanted to do this to release my frustration (sorry LOH)!!

But come to think of it, it's not entirely HIS fault, i did not take the initiative to remember the place too. My bad...
Well, just when we thot that we had enough adventure for the day, we had to find our way to Eye On Malaysia ferris wheel. And boy... we took entire ONE HOUR 30 MINS to find our way. Lol, what a combination, we get lost everytime we meet each other! But after that, like how every adventure ends, it pays off; a cherishable moment

After the ferris wheel ride, there another BIGGER adventure. I actually DROVE home! He is the 1st person that trust me behind the wheel! I truly appreciate that There are excited & scary moments...but im not gonna spill any details about that >:P
It might be a tiring 'adventurous' day, but it's all part of fun & time flies =)

My 1st tv commercial shoot (hopefully not last)

I always believed in perseverance & patience... and it finally paid off! Numerous castings and the results yet seem fruitless, on a fine day, i finally received a call, i got a commercial!
But sometimes we do have to give up one thing to achieve another; in this case, i gave up my fren's party bash on the 11th august in Poppy to prepare for another day: 7:30am shooting. I sure did miss out many funny things =S
First big challenge is to look for the excluded, far far away Shooting Valley. Their map is good, but my sense of direction, hmm, i dun wanna mention it.
When i'm there, i faced my 2nd big challenge... make up! Not to say that i never apply make up or whtever, but i 'm only use to doing it myself. I really can't take it if someone puts a pencil or brush near my eyes... it's like being stabbed at the eye. The scenario turns comedic; my eyes became very very watery... and it is only my right eye that keep twitching. I look like a STROKE patient ><"
It is even more embarrassing when other ppl who are waiting keep staring at me, and the makeup artist is trying to bear with me...
and i swear this is how he was--->
Lol... and it appears that what Yuanie told me is correct, "You have bushy brows, do something about them!" And yes, the makeup artist sure noticed it and did something about it. Now...
i have 'lady' brows----> rather thn 'bushmen' eyebrows--->
*i feel pretty* ps: happy Yuanie? hehe...

After all that, other casts came in &there we sat... minutes passed... hours passed... and soon we feel hungry and lose track of time. Some bit their fingers (me), some just sat and stare into space, and some lucky ones have their bfs and gfs to talk to... hmmph! *jealousy*
Finally we couldn't take the hunger anymore, we decided to go & get ourselves some drinks... but it is only then the shooting crew call for us! Just at the right moment, pfft...
All went well, and we had quite some fun & laughter, sweat and numerous NG takes.

Conclusion, my first experience of TVC shooting is fun & granted me new experiences, and importantly: frens

Well, i'm not gonna disclose too much about what we did... catch it on air anytime soon!
