As many people know, I got to NIU and I just wanted to say thank you to the community, to family and friends, for all of your support.  I was amazed as my phone would get reception to watch my phone flood with people checking to make sure I was safe, as well as everyone online leaving me messages, comments, or even finding my phone number to reach me faster.
To anyone who came to campus to mourn, who wrote letters expressing your sorrows and prayers, or just was saddened by the news and prayed for us, thank you.  Even if I don't know you, or haven't ever spoke to you, you are now part of my family.
You are all amazing people, and with the tragic events like the shooting, we are reminded of the great ability to for everyone to unite and heal the wounded, and stand strong for a cause.

Continue your prayers for NIU... the healing has only begun.

okay, maybe not but it was priceless that was they put as the default.

The Midwest Cities Missions Trip from Savanna Bible Church left yesterday. 
Everyone please just pray for their safety and that they will be messengers to the communities they reach out to, that they bring light upon the word of the Lord and glorify him, as well as uplift the people they come in contact with and help.
They left yesterday and will return Saturday, traveling through Indianapolis, Chicago, and Milwaukee.
If anyone wants me to type up their day by day schedule let me know, more than happy to.
