I did pretty well this Xmas, when asked what I wanted I said “To see Lord of the rings opening day by my self” and that is what I got.  As it always is nothing I really want comes easy, I was given a card with a “get out of jail free card” LOL from hubby and the kids and on Boxing Day morning with a major case of the Flu I headed off the Cinema, I had tried to pre-book tickets but no one would do that over the phone and I really did not want to go to a shopping center pre-Xmas so I took my chance at getting in on the day, first mistake, I get to the shopping center that houses Greater Union and its closed, I drive around trying to find the car park entrance to the cinemas I ended up on the top level of the center on the other side and it took me about ½ hour to get to the cinema through a maze of locked gates and roller doors in a car park that is hard enough to navigate when everything is open, when I get to the cinema as expected there are huge queues so I join the line and of course it’s the slowest one I got there at 9.30ish and the 10am session was full but the 12 was still selling the other lines went through 3 times b4 I was ¾ the way down my line I got sooo frustrated and to make things more tense a fire alarm was ringing the whole time then at 9.45ish the 12 o’clock as sold out I was still 5 ppl away from the counter and very pissed off, why? Cause as I was leaving home hubby asked what time movie I was planning on seeing cause he wanted to take the boy to get a game for his game boy he got for xmas (SHEESH) so I though the 12 o’clock would be perfect, anyways when I got there I though stuff it I’m complaining about this slow ass girl behind the counter so I asked for the manager who of course was not available, grrr, so stupid me in my frustration left and went home.  When I got home I told hubby what had happened and he said he would take me to another cinema to get a later ticket for that night then he would feed the kids blah de blah, so off again I go to get another ticket, I get to the other Cinema lines were worse at this cinema and the queue to get in to the cinema itself was unbelievable and that session was still 1hour away, so I got my ticket, and scared stiff that I would lose the dam thing I stuck it in my bra so I would not lose or forget it, I told hubby that I would have to leave home at about 5pm to get in line again so I did, I got there a little after ¼ past and there was no queue at that stage only lines for other movies (4 movies released on the same days ffs) so I got my self a mega coke and then they put up the sign for my queue woohooo I was second in line and 1 ½ hours to wait hmmm should not have got that mega coke!!! LOL after a while I start talking to the guy in front of me and he points out that there is a Lord of the Rings marathon at midnight showing both movies! So I sat for 1 hour debating swapping my ticket for the marathon one since I never got the chance to see the first one at the movies but the thought of sitting for 6 hours then going home to 2 kids was not appealing.  Finally they let us in to the cinema and I got a great seat and sat glued to the screen until it ended, IT WAS AWSOME 10/10.  I cant wait to see it again and again and again I’m taking the kids and even trying to convince hubby to see the marathon with me when his mum comes next week!!   It was quite funny to with such a full audience you could tell those that have read the book and those that had not cause of the reactions.  I kind of wish I had not read the books first but still totally love the movies and it’s going to be a very long wait for the last episode…

Well it never ends here!!!

Fires hit sydney once again this time right were I live it was 3 streets away from my house so we were safe but it was scary being my first time so close and also a bit worring having streets blocked and not knowing if you went out of the area if you could get back in again.

The fires were also in the areas of ppl that I care about like Faidhe, my sister in law and a friends mother, but the worst of the fires were up the coast in Glenrowen and Berowra but thanks to a heap of rain today the fighters can rest easy and take a well deserved rest!

Well anyways crisis over and thinks back to as close to normal as things get here...

I started Physio yesterday never though fixing pain ment more pain! lol was a strange feeling thats for sure.  not sure how long this will take fingers crossed it all heals quickly.

Umm there is heaps more going on here but not enought time to tell all so ill leave it here.

might not be on much till after xmas will try though got heaps happening in the comming weeks if I dont get on b4 Have a SAFE and Merry XMAS and a Great New Year...

Handy tip for the day!

NEVER take 2 panadene forte at once even if the DR tells you to...

I spent yet another night in hospital cause of the pain in my head, I was getting increasingly worse since monday and on wednesday night I was hijacked (cause im to stubborn to admit Im in pain) by my MIL and taken to the hospital rescanned and given and increase in medication to control the pain.  so on Thursday I got up as usuall took the 2 forte's that the DR told me to and got on with things, BIG MISTAKE!  by the time I had walked my son to school I was pail and week as anything and if I had eaten breaky I would have lost it...  The wonderful mums at the school rallied again and one took my daughter to their playgroup while another mum took me to the DR's office and another mum arranged to collect my son from school (did I mention how wonderful these mums are?) The DR says that the increase on medication was to much for me and I should slow and half the dosage and take regular panadol if I am still suffering from pain in between the forte's,  so today I feel a lot better still in pain but not sick!

PS I dont recomend getting hit in the head either!!!

Oh and can anyone help me think of a way to thank all the people that have helped me when I had really needed it? I have had a few thoughs such as a thank you note in the local school paper or individual cards or something like that cause I dont find a that just saying thankyou is enough...
