| yay!!! going home tomorrow! so excited! | | |
| wow, it's been a long time. so, apparently the answer is none of the above for that question...i guess that would make sense, lol.
anyway, it got up to like 45 degrees this weekend and a lot of people had on shorts or t-shirts and things. it was pretty funny because it felt like summer after the horrible winter we've been having. 10 degrees to 45 isn't bad! i can't wait to go back to MD where its even warmer!!
i have some funny pictures, but i can't figure out how to put them on here. can anyone help?
| yay, my day of craziness is almost over. i was just doing some of the monster load of work i have to do tonight--reading about the SCA for my writing seminar. does anyone know about this?? i find it so weird to learn about such huge things that happen around me but don't realize. so, the SCA is the society for creative anachronism and there's people all over the world who dress up and act like people from medieval times to recreate the period. they even sword fight and stuff. apparently there's a chapter in annapolis too. it's so weird how into it some people are. strange.
oh, and also...earlier i had my prelim for my design and environmental analysis class--intro to human-environment relations. this prof must be the worst analogy writer ever. here is one:
environmental determinism is to the cornell kitchen triangle as
static is to dynamic; igloo is to manifest function; incongruence is to person-designer fit; territoriality is to privacy; none of the above
ok, so i know what all these mean, but what the hell is the answer?!? environmental determinism is when the physical environment directly affects human welfare (no thoughts or feelings are involved), and the cornell kitchen triangle is a specific kitchen layout which is most convenient and productful (i know, cornell is so cool). i don't see how any of these are related!! maybe the answer is none...anyway if anyone cares, and wants to try to figure it out, go ahead. i'll post the answer once the key is up.
| AHHH!! extreme headache!! and 2 prelims tommorow that i need to study for!!! | | |
| i guess my expertise really is procrastination. i have a five page paper due tommorow morning, i currently have half a page. i'm going crazy because i can't make myself do it. so i guess i'm writing this in hopes of getting myself in the typing mood. it really is too bad that i have to type the paper because that means i can't turn off the computer to stop distracting me. i think my laptop is the devil. oh, and the weather box says the temperature is negative 0. i'm pretty sure that isn't possible. | | |
