If an engineer walks into a room and sees a fire in the middle and a bucket of water in the corner, he takes the bucket of water and pours it on the fire and puts it out.

If a physicist walks into a room and sees a fire in the middle and a bucket of water in the corner, he takes the bucket of water and pours it eloquently around the fire and lets the fire put itself out.

I have too many favorite tunes to list. I love a wide range of music. Oldies, more contemporary stuff, some country western, good contemporary worship songs as well as old hymns, jazz, the blues, a bit of this and that..... I enjoy some classical pieces -- even a bit of opera. I can only listen to that when Pea Hater isn't at home, though! I guess the only kind of music I don't care for is the big band sound.

Morning sleepyhead.

I rather like 70's rock for nostalgia purposes and Hillsong United for worship. Beyond that it is an eclectic blend.

I just put Ray Stevens " Mississippi Squirrel Revival" on my site to go with my squirrel post. That isn't one of my favorite songs, but MAN does it crack me up!

I like the joke. It reminds me of one of my favorite jokes:

A physicist, biologist and a chemist were going to the ocean for the first time.
The physicist saw the ocean and was fascinated by the waves. He said he wanted to do some research on the fluid dynamics of the waves and walked into the ocean. Obviously, he was drowned and never returned.
The biologist said he wanted to do research on the flora and fauna inside the ocean and walked inside the ocean. He too, never returned.
The chemist waited for a long time and afterwards, wrote the observation, "The physicist and the biologist are soluble in ocean water".
