ei liked your comment... coincidentally i had a talk on the Art of Forgiving (i give talks to help me cope as well) and one of my realizations and something that also came out of our discussion was that because we over identify ourselves with our body and the accomplishments of this body we tend to forget who we really are which is a spiritual being that is pure, loving, powerful, ever happy, merciful, loving, peaceful, and knowledgeful... and once we forget that is when we become hurt because with body consciousness comes ego... and you know what happens if our ego is squeezed... hehehehe,,,,

interesting video. i remember a while back when there was this gal here as work that was a freakin' fanatic about politics and war and i started reading some articles that she would send me, then i started being a bit fanatical not really, i read some things, thought about them, talked to my partner about them (she thought i was crazy) and then? i lost interest. why? because even though i'm convinced that things like this video are pretty much true, there's not a damn thing that i can do about it. i'd rather spend my time like tribong_upos says, which is associating my life with my spirit, not this meat suit and the ego. :spinning:

Today is a day of love and gratitude...Thanks master for all these years of teaching me the wisdom of crystals:love: and your support as well when I thought that  darkness was so dark!!!!:lol: you showed me that darkness doesn't exist...it's just a moment of less light:sunny:

I am not a joiner by any stretch of the imagination ,and I am somewhat hardened against undue influences from media ,and religion ,and neighborly budinskies and even family types who know the secrets of success , but I must cede to practicalities and given that life is complex, especially now that we are most of us removed from the land and have no inkling how to lead a simple life so I participate in mass culture as long as I do nothing to debase my personal set of values... as for art.. I would extend that thought to live as if your life were art...

I liked the first video, didn't do the second. I feel much is true in the video and it was rather hypnotic. It is very frustrating to know that this monster machine runs the earth (all of the combined above mentioned.) I just do it day by day and take everything in, sort through it, and toss out the bullshit. Works for me. If I had one wish it would be to come back in 100 years and see what has happened since I left. Should be interesting, to say the least.

Its rather depressing. I'm depressed now. I could relate with so much of what is said here. Sometimes I too feel like a minority with how I see life. I have been owned and enslaved. OK I'll put on happy face now and hope it sticks until another relization of what this life can be...is.

:heartbeat:  You are absolutely, positively far from being alone in this. Although there is no doubt that you are among a minority.  So what!  That does not diminish the intensity or significance of your beliefs. 

Being on the fringe used to bother me.   Now I  have calmed down and stay on the lodo a bit more.  I've accepted that I know what I know is true in my heart and I am not insane.   My awareness has become an antibiotic to keep me from being swallowed up by the "living dead".  It is much easier for some, to deny the unpopular theories, and merely exist among the controlled population without question. 

A coworker said to me recently, refering to a rude contol freak and difficult boss, "Splinters will eventually fester and work their way out on their own."  Sure enough, the boss got fired just a few days later.   :wink:

I feel the truth is just barely below the surface and about to work it's self out.   We have the power through it all, to remain optomistic.   :sunny:
