So on Monday I hate an appointment with a urologist. I haven't seen one ever and I have finally made a decision in my life that will make things much easier for me. I made the decision a number of years ago I should say but I finally decided to do it. I am getting a vasectomy. Everyone I tell this to is surprised. If you knew me or I should say if you knew my thoughts on this one matter you wouldn't be surprised at all. My sister has three healthy, lovely, rambunctious boys. I have one godson. That is more than enough for me.

I was prepped for the visit since one of my friends already went and had this done a few weeks ago. When I went in everyone was super sweet. I had to watch this horrid 6 minuted video about what happens and then I went into another room where the doctor met me. He looked like a typical doctor type, mid 40's, nice guy. First he asked me how old I was and whether I was married. When I told him 36 and no. He asked me twice if I was sure about it and I said definitely both times. He laughed a bit and said he had to ask. Then he talked about the whole procedure and started off very doctorly with penis and testicles, but slowly worked his way to nuts and wang and a few other slang. I like the guy. Then he told me I had to be shaved....not a problem as I already am. Then he asks about injuries down there. Am I going to tell him about getting kicked there so hard by this asshole in 7th grade that I couldn't walk straight for a week? No. Do I tell him the numerous times that I racked myself riding bareback on a horse? No. I just tell him I have a piercing. Ha.

So after our conversation which lasted all of about 20 minutes he asks me to pull my pants down. I can seriously count easily the times another guy has touched me and it is 3, since I have been an adult, this being the third. Of course as a guy, you are looking and thinking, 1: dont you dare fucking get an erection, 2: a guy is touching my penis, 3: Can we please get this over with. I of course am thinking all those things but make jokes about irregularities as he's squeezing my testicles. Then this is the BEST part. Does he ask? No. He grabs the head of my penis with his fingers and just looks at my piercing and asks does it hurt. Ummmm...yeah it hurt like a mutha getting it. No, Does it hurt when you have sex? Hahahaha... No doc, the reason you get that is because it feels waaaaaayyyy better. So I have this two minute convo with the doctor about how it feels with sex as well as when I got pierced. The whole time he is playing with my piercing and looking. I laughed all the way home. I dont think he had seen one, OR he hadnt seen one on someone who was willing to talk about it openly. Either way, that was some funny stuff. My doctor felt me up and Played with my prince albert. Hahahaha!

Anyway, Im getting snipped on the 29th. Yes! And then its 3 months before Im free and clear of the spermies and then everything will be all good. And yes people keeping asking me if I am sure and I am. Trust me.

I had one of my older friends tell me the best thing she ever did was have her son. I told her that if the best thing she ever did was have a child, something that every woman can do, then she wasn't trying hard enough. I disagreed with her because she is a brilliant painter and I think her art will speak louder about her over the years than one man. I told her that, but she still disagreed, which is fine. I know what she meant, but I was talking about history not family. Not too many people remember who the Medeci family really was, but most of us know the artists they employed: Michaelangelo being one of those artists.

I helped a friend move him and his girlfriend out of their old apartment. They decided to move into separate places after having issues. They are already way better. So many people move in together too soon...myself included in that mix. I think people can sleep at each other's houses forever but as long as they have their own place then you can keep your identity juuuussst fine.

After that I picked up my lady from work. We went and ate sushi and then crashed for about two and a half hours. Got up and went over to a friend's house for barbecue grillin fun with video games.

We left early and went back to bed. Now Im making waffles and bacon and eggs for bfast...Awww yeah!

My brain just doesnt function so well at 6am. Its amazing to think that I can wake, make my lovely lady lunch, coffee, write some silly notes, and then drive to work, all before 7am. My normal body wakeup is somewhere between 730-9am. Anything earlier and I am groggy and not awake for hours, and anything later and I just feel like a slug and a layabout.

Todays list:
Call a few friends to catch up.
Call plant person and find out where my friggin trees are that I paid for two months ago!
Clean!!! Wipe down everything, sweep, mop, vacuum, and do some home improvement things; peut-etre a trip to Home Depot is required
Sand down some sculptures
Drink a beer and smoke while cleaning. That is the best way for me to get into cleaning and sanding actually!
Daydream about Ra'an...this should go up top but it is a given and I will do that anyway. She is so very sexy.

ummm...pay some bills if I have time.

Tonight we are going out to dinner with some friends and then to this movie about one of the members of the Clash. Tomorrow I get to sleep in...YES!

Another early morning

I woke up this morning with a rush and a fright thinking that I had somehow overslept. Then my eyes cleared and I saw the clock and realized it was all in my alarm clock induced brain. I hate waking up early but I like spening time with my girlfriend and thus to appease my desire for early morning cuteness and to know that she will be smiling and thinking about me all day I wake up, make her lunch, prepare something yummy, and write her some sweet notes for her lunchtime. She doesnt wait until lunchtime to read them but they are meant for that time. I told her I am going to put them in a box and drop off the key at lunchtime one day just to be a smartass. Anyway.today my day is filled with phone calls to people who owe me things: money, trees, etc. Then after that I am cleaning a bit after I get back from class.

Today is a good day. It seems, and yes this is because of my newfound relationship, that each and every day is a good day. I am in the glorious honeymoon phase of my or any relationship. There are awkward cute bits where we try and figure each other out, but for the most part there are just wonderful bits where we are exceedingly cute and exacerbatingly wonderful and it is awesome. I have found a woman who likes me for who I am, but wants to show me new things, who likes art and although has no real pull towards what I am doing (this is a good thing) likes to watch me work and it makes her happy. She has a full time job with animals. The fact that she works full time AND with animals makes me happy since I have never ever dated anyone who has worked full time. It is a new and magical thing for me. It means I have my own time during the day, and she wants her own time when she comes home from work. She spends time at her house with her animal and then comes over when she wants. This is so foreign to me, but in an incredible way. She has friends here that she goes over and hangs out with all the time and I like them quite a bit and consider them friends. She is more friends with one then the other and I think I am becoming more friends with the other half then who she is friends with so this actually works out great. She sculpts in a fashion, putting together models of planes and uboats and things like that. I gave up those endeavours when I was around 16 but it means I can sculpt and she will be working next to me on her models....that is AWESOME! It is a close enough form of work and passion that we can work in the same environment and she is independant enough like now to be working on her piece while I write this missive. I love it.

Anyway...it is a good day. I posted some pics up on my blogspot account of what I have been modelling digitally. I readily and heartily admit it is nothing fancy or amazing. I am learning this program so what I am doing is trying to figure out what I can do and how to do it. I will be posting some more stuff that are sample and tests that may or may not get sculpted from the machines that I have access to. If you dont have or dont remember my blogspot account then email me and I will tell you, if you are curious. But if not then dont worry about it.

Waiting for inspiration

Ever have one of those mornings/days where you are waiting for inspiration? You know its there right around the edges of your mind but you cannot find it. You have so much work to do in one day you dont know how you will fit it all in. You have so many things to be happy and inspired by but its hard to focus on one and let it fill you up properly. So far today that is me.

I took my girlfriend to work and didnt want to let her go.
I have since then been surfing the net, writing emails and drinking coffee.
Now I am eating an egg sandwich waiting for my friend so we can go to the chiropractor
Then to pick up a uhaul for a new couch and stuff
Then to drop off old stuff
Then to do metal recycling
Then return the uhaul
Then clean my office
Then do homework
Then grill and have movie night.

Darjeeling Limited

Watched Darjeeling Limited last night. I really liked that movie a lot. I didnt know that it had some of the actors and actresses in it that it did and so that was a happy surprise. If you like the Royal Tennenbaums then this movie has a similar feel and vein to it. It was quirky and silly and funny and sexy. I really enjoyed it. Afterwards I ended up having some of the best.. s...that I have ever ever had. I think I have had cookies straight every day for over a week. My body feels it. I call it "Raanexercising". I am sore everywhere I can think of, but it is all a very good type of sore. Who needs to go to the gym when you are doing this all the time. Seriously. All my muscles are popping out again. And so long as you try new things each and every time you are attacking new muscles groups so you are getting a full workout of both cardio and slow muscle burning exercises. Its great!

Today is me making breakfast for a sexy hot wonderful lady, then I am giving her a full body massage, then we will probably watch Persepolis, then I have an online meeting with one of my students, then I have to go and pick up my son from the airport. DJ is my gay, black son who is awesome. Anyway...

I am soooo in trouble. I feel myself falling fast and hard for this girl. Every day I spend with her is a wonder. What a joy and a terror she is to me. Today was the very first day that she openly called herself my girlfriend. We are what...a bit over three real weeks of dating....its amazing with only really knowing someone at this stage what you can "feel" for them. It is scary beyond all reason and joyous beyond all recognition.
